Les Motherby makes a generous donation to the HCST Museum.

Want to read something genuinely entertaining and informative about Hull City AFC? Then you’re in luck, as it’s to be found our Museum’s Dressing Room. Les has provided an overview of City’s kit history that makes compelling reading. Do we know the colours used in City’s first matches? When did we eschew black and amber altogether, and did the first badge used feature a tiger? Why did Don Robinson add red to the kit’s colours? All these questions – and many others – are answered in Les’s feature, which of course then links to his Hull City Kits site.

When you’ve checked out Les’s contribution, why not see what articles you can donate to the museum?

Apologies for not posting the article from Les in full, but it's too large for the post limit, but it's very much worth reading.

It's currently virtual, so it's only going up online(we've got thousands of programmes being scanned at the moment, but it's taking forever), we had hoped to have an actual pop-up museum, but unfortunately we lost the venue(we've got a load of stuff ready if we manage to find somewhere else).

The Airco arena would be a good spot.

It seems unlikely, the Allams were the reason we lost the first venue. <laugh>
