    Great news and possibly the first sign of a slight change of approach from Charnley and Mike.

    Hard not to be positive about this. Be good for McClaren to bring in his own back room staff, me might actually see players improve now!

    It won't suddenly turn Marveuax, Williamson etc in to good players but it'll certainly help the likes of Anita, Haidara, Sissoko, Armstrong & Abeid.

    Some of our players are just awful and have no hope, others have potential but due to poor coaching never seem to fulfil it. Have to say I haven't felt this positive in a while about the club and we haven't even signed anyone <laugh>

    Disclaimer: By "positive" I mean for once my football club haven't made me feel suicidal.

    I think Marveaux is technically a good player, as good if not better then anita, however his work rate and injury issues need to be sorted out. I wouldnt mind having him on the bench say over Obertan

    Carver must be off to Real Madrid to replace Clement then, being the best coach in the league it was somewhat inevitable.

    Yeah, we have some absolutely dreadful players. I'd add Gouffran to that list.

    Maybe, just maybe we are actually looking to improve.

    Yes,Yes Yes. Appears Beardo being promoted too. I know Eric Steele is McClaren's goalie coach but if he doesn't come I would look at Pavel or Stevie Harper, both good servants to the club.

    Gentle reminder that NUFC replaced Llambias with...Charnley. They replaced Kinnear, DoF, with.....nobody. They replaced Donachie with.....nobody. They replaced Pardew with.....worse than nobody, Carver, and then replaced Carver with....nobody. The FD, John Irving, and his assistant have been replaced with.....nobody.
