Agreed he looked good, but in fairness he will be 22 in September and if he's not going to be in or around the first team it's probably better for all parties if he leaves. He needs to get first team football at this stage of his career.
Lyle Della-Verde is also being released. @dellaverdee Would like to say thank you to everyone @FulhamFC for everything over the years Had some good times and grown from a boy to a man there..... please log in to view this image This one I can understand. He joined back in 2011 as a second year scholar and has worked his way through the Academy ranks. Always competent but never quite showing enough to make the final grade.
Kostas Stafylidis has gone back to Bayer Leverkusen … permanently, it would seem. please log in to view this image "The 21-year-old defender Konstantinos Stafylidis will play for the Werkself in the 2015/16 campaign. The Greece international went out on loan at the English second tier club Fulham last summer. Stafylidis made 34 league appearances for the London team that ended seventeenth in the Championship table. With Stafylidis picking up valuable match practice in England, Bayer 04 and Fulham agreed the left back could return to Leverkusen for next season.” Source: http://www.bayer04.de/b04-ENG/en/_md_aktuell-dt.aspx?aktuell=aktuell-5652
Chris David would appear to be another one released. please log in to view this image He posted this: please log in to view this image Mixed feelings about his time with us. Obviously talented. However, as I’ve said before, very much of the ‘Taarabt’ kind - not a team player and doubtful when it comes to fitness.
What a shame. So so talented. The first half vs Cardiff sticks out in my mind. He could have bossed this division if his head and body were in the right place.
Reports say that Everton have made an official enquiry about Moussa Dembele please log in to view this image One source: http://www.nsno.co.uk/everton-news/2015/05/blues-track-french-striker/ Letting him go will say a lot about our ‘vision’ for the youngsters. However, he was down the pecking order for most of last season. And I guess if they are prepared to pay over the odds ( say £2m) with only 1 year left on his contract the Club could be tempted; rather than lose him next year for a nominal sum. Feyenoord and Genoa are also apparently showing an interest PS Moussa made his first Premier League start against Everton way back in March last year.
I think a lot will depend on Dembele himself, we should be doing all we can to tie him down but if he refuses to sign and we get a decent offer in our hands are tied a little bit. Unfortunately we are no longer a premier league club and it's where players want to be!
Haven't seen an official Fulham list of players being released this summer yet. Are they waiting till 1st June unlike most teams who have already released their lists. Why our club just can't come out and say these are the players we are letting go on a free, and these are the players we will want to sell. My guess Adil Chihi, Kay Voser, Gabor Kiraly, Richard Lee, Hugo Rodallega, Fernando Amorebieta, Kostas Mitroglou Maarten Stekelenburg Bryan Ruiz Chris David Tomas Eisfeld Maybe Hoogland Kacaniklic Tunnicliffe Bodurov Taggart
The Maarten Stekelenburg to Southampton story is raising it’s head again - or it might just be a re-run of the old one, Fulham “news” being quiet. please log in to view this image "The former Roma keeper was signed by Fulham in the summer of 2013 from Roma under Martin Jol, however he wasn’t overly impressive in his first season, and to get his Premier League wages off the books, he was shifted out on loan to French side Monaco. After spending the season on loan at Monaco, they decided not to take up their option to sign him permanently, and will return to Fulham shortly. The 32-year-old’s been linked with a move to Southampton, after their number one Fraser Forster picked up an injury which will see him miss the majority of next season. They’re now keen to sign a new goalkeeper for temporary cover as they aren’t putting their trust in veteran Kelvin Davis and youngster Paulo Gazzaniga.” Source: http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/southampton-closing-in-on-deal-to-sign-fulham-goalkeeper/

The first official transfer OUT. Aldershot Town have signed Tom Richards on a one-year contract. please log in to view this image “The versatile defender and midfielder rejoins The Shots after impressing in a loan spell from Fulham between February and April 2015. The 20 year-old from Guildford had been a regular in The Whites’ Under 21 side last season, having joined the club in 2011, but has left Craven Cottage at the end of a three year professional deal. Richards showed great pace and work-ethic in nine appearances for The Shots, in playing at left-back and on both left and right wings, having also played ten games on loan at AFC Wimbledon between February and May 2014. “This is the best move for my career right now,” said Richards. “Barry had a lot of good things to say when we met last week, and I think this is my best opportunity to get game time. He’s good pals with my old coach at Fulham (Peter Grant), they’ve been talking about me, and he’s said good things about Barry. “Some people have told me that I’m better than National League level, but here is the best chance for me to play regular football. The most important thing for me this year is to play games – as nice as it was being at Fulham, I want to be playing first-team football.” Full story : http://www.theshots.co.uk/richards-returns/
Now St Étienne and Napoli have joined Everton, Feyenoord and Genoa in the “race” for Moussa Dembélé. Source: http://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2015/exclusive-st-etienne-napoli-enquire-about-moussa-dembele/ please log in to view this image
Wonder if Sporting Lisbon getting Jorge Jesus from Benfica in as Manager will effect the Ruiz transfer ?
Did the club ever issue a list of players being officially released? I'm not sure if I missed it, or if it just never happened.
Hasn't happened Captain. Guess technically we don't need to until 30th June but holding back makes no sense at all. Could offer up a few 'conspiracy' theories why we're the only club not to have but that would suggest that our management are again dithering rather than being decisive as indicated in the 'Three Musketeers ' video. So, will defer.
As predicted a number of threads ago, Bristol City are after Matt Smith. "Bristol City attempted to make his deal permanent, or at least extend the loan, in January, but Fulham were unwilling to sell under new manager Kit Symons. He didn’t continue is form from League One and again fell out of favour, and it looks like he could be on the move again this summer. FLW understands Steve Cotterill is keen on adding more strike power to there squad this summer, and has earmarked Matt Smith as the man to do just that." If Kit doesn't fancy him it makes sense to sell, but I'd be sad to see him go. While Woodrow and Dembele have potential, Smith up front with McCormack still seems like our best combination at the moment. I guess it depends how much we got for him and who else came in to replace him.
The List of Released Players is Out The Club can confirm that Hugo Rodallega will leave Fulham when his contract expires at the end of this month. Also leaving are: Tim Hoogland Gabor Kiraly Chris David Adil Chihi Josh Passley Solomon Sambou Jonathan Buatu Noe Baba. Those not mentioned who are out of contract with the Club are still in the process of discussion. Source: http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2015/june/12/player-departures Very surprised at Noe Baba - even though he's been played out of position having lost out to Ryheem Sheckleford. And a great shame for Sol Sambou ('the pocket battleship') who has been at the Club since the age of 12. Don't know why Tom Richards is not mentioned.
According to the Football League Stephen Arthurworrey and Dean O'Halloran have also been released. Here's the link to their page, which shows the list for all clubs: http://www.football-league.co.uk/ne...eague-retained-and-released-list-2491522.aspx
