Newcastle United are looking to reunite Quincy Promes with his former FC Twente manager Steve McClaren on Tyneside.
The Dutch international winger would be available for a fee in the region of £12 million this summer and the Magpies had a scout watching him during the USA’s 4-3 victory over Holland at the weekend, according to clubcall.com.

Would love it if he signed, his goal scoring record and Assit records are very good for a young player. His also sposed to be super fast, i just dont see it happening. He signed for Spartak Moscow for 15m euros, so they are going to want more than that and I cant see us doing it.

He loves a step over too!

Sounds good to me, but......... What do you reckon Fatty with the Cashy is going to think?
I reckon he will think about this for 5 seconds and just say NO

Seriously, if we got Austin, Promes and a good CB in, i would probably film myself ejaculating into my own eyes and post on here for all to see, but as Geordie lass said, there is no chance!

They spent about £10m on Aiden McGeady and sold him to Everton for peanuts (supposedly). It's a common theme in Russian football, losing money on players. Their owners don't care, just look at Chelsea's owner.

I think we'll put bids in... for £5m each, knowing they will get rejected.... then trot out the 'couldn't get them over the line'.. garbage....

It's almost worth setting up one of those fundraising pages just to see if Toon Man is as good as ACS's at keeping his word.

Sky reporting we are after Tom Ince from Hull. Derby willing to make him their record signing so no doubt we'll not get him over the line.

The stats say he got 11 goals in 18 for Derby, as a winger that is quite remarkable. It seems like McLaren could actually get Ince to fulfill his potential and if he does we would have a top player on our hands.

Tom Ince has plenty of talent. Whether he is going to realise his potential is the big question. McClaren certainly seems to know how to use him. So far however he has only done it in the Championship.

Simon Bird from Daily Mirror saying Austin deal is agreed and done and McClaren now after Berahino to form a new strike force. ( not sure about this but DM is the "preferred outlet for NUFC )

Look I'd be delighted to have Beharino and Austin but it won't happen. Those two along with Perez and SDJ would be a formidable looking front line. I just can't see us splashing that sort of cash.

How about we get a few defenders though, there is a small problem in that area...

I see what you're trying to do. Just admit it, you hate Keegan and the Keegan way of football. You just want to try and win something by not letting in too many goals. It's parasites like you that leach all that is good out of football.

    You're really a...

    football fan!!!!!
