Benteke is our next big player target. Just trying to haggle price down from £32.5m to something we feels a bit more realistic.

  5. At least us signing Ings means we won't be going for Berahino <diva>

Good point. One less aidy ward conversation there.

Wonder who wards agitation will prompt to buy berahino

We wouldn't touch Berahino now, Aidy Ward and all.

In fact can't see many clubs wanting to deal with clients of Ward. Wider implications of the Sterling situation, Ward has proved himself to be a massive pain the arse to deal with.

I'm sure the Ings can only get better line has been done to death.

But with so many squad strikers unable to score.....what odds Ings suffers the same fate while Sterling leads the line

Sterling won't go tostrengthen a rival(we see that posted here a lot)so maybe United could be his next club.

I like Ings, but if Liverpool have top four ambition, then he isn't the answer

Is he better than Borini or Lambert? Cause that's who he's likely to be replacing

Not really. I can only remember Suarez 'not being allowed' to go to Arsenal.

Ings has only had one season an played well. The other two are strikers who in the past have scored plenty

    It
It looks like your rivals are now Spurs and Southampton with odd challenges from Everton (after our terrible season) and Swansea

Everton's main rivals are mediocrity and Bill Kenwright.

The only possible way that would be happening is if they made a stupid bid, which they will not do, not when they have CL and lots of other options.
City for a chunky fee or nowhere in the summer I think, but really who fkn knows.. the way these things go these days, Torres left at the last minute for 50m, Sterling is no Torres tho.

A lot may depend on how stupid City are with their cash I reckon

Everyone was banking their houses of Suarez leaving for Arsenal, a lot of homeless opposition supporters atm <laugh>

So your point was - we won't be selling Sterling to strengthen Spurs, Southampton, Everton or Swansea ?

    Where did I say that?

Your rivals were the big clubs, now it's the next group down<ok>

So IF he was sold to United......then he won't be going to a rival<ok>
