I know you love any chance to bash Rodgers but Balotelli has been sh*** absolute dog****. No amount of your arguments can hide that fact.
Markovic played wingback and scored more goals, Can was played out of position and showed his talent plus scored the same number of league goals. I will be totally glad to see him leave.

Because unlike the others, Moreno is talented, young and has played at a high level. Judging him on his defensive ability at LFC, and in particular under Rodgers isn't fair because BR is an awful defensive coach.

Moreno was far better under Unai Emery.

When you spend £20m on a player, I expect someone who will be starting every game and one of our best players.

Lucas says he converted himself into a DM when he realized he could not handle AM in the PL. He felt it was the only way he could survive in English football.

Ings is also young, so still has plenty of time to improve.

I'm yet to see some of this talent that Moreno has so will reserve judgement for the time being.

Ps - fixed your post for you <ok>

And will Ings get game time to develop into a good player? I highly doubt it.

And I've not seen anything to suggest Ings is a good player. Scoring goals for a sh*t team isn't all that impressive - especially when he scores 1 in every 10 shots.

I suppose that's still better than most of our strike force!

At the end of the day - I have nothing against Ings, he is a squad option and I think we'll be able to make a bit of money by signing him to replace Borini, and then eventually selling Ings for a tidy sum .

I just think LFC fans are now at a point where we're trying incredibly hard to justify certain signings which no other big club would do.

  7. Didn't include Mario either, or Can

When Markovic was played in AM, which I think was twice, he did very well, and I believe scored both times.
Markovic was probably a committee signing but Rodgers favoured Sterling and Lallana.

Markovic is an exceptional talent so I can understand the price - I still expected more but I think he will come good in the next year or so.

For the price paid for both, age and talent - I think the other signings are far worse.

    Cheers - I wish I shared everyone's enthusiasm towards mediocre players. <ok>

If Sterling goes I want to see Markovic tried in his spot before any one is signed. Markovic and Coutinho supported Sturridge or a new striker.

Definitely - play Marko further up the pitch in his natural position. He's had a tough year but it was necessary to help him get used to the league, country etc etc.

  15. We could have paid £100m for Markovic and the Mario signing would still be worse. Least there was a chance of something in return, Mario had completely no chance whatsoever of ever working out, we just gave the money away! May as well just burnt it <doh>

I think your hatred towards Mario dwarfs mine for Skrtel ..

    Which is quite concerning!!

It wouldn't matter what Rodgers did, he's a poor player and always has been Rodgers only mistake is signing him.

Yeah puttitng the ball on a plate for him form 4 yards out with no keeper only to smash it over isn't playing to his strengths... What we should have done was knocked it back out 40 yards and allowed him to shoot from there instead :bandit:

  20. Its not a hatred for Mario, it's a strong dislike for his signing when it was blatantly obvious he wasn't ever going to work. I'd never say hate towards another human being unless they were a rapest, murderer etc. It is the worst deal we've ever done IMO
