We've had 'best pub', so now here's a thread about your favourite landlord or landlady. For me, it's the great Albert Broady, late landlord of the Polar Bear. He was there from when I first started drinking in there, and I was there when he retired (and it started to go down-hill). Who is yours? The one's that serve me when it's my turn. There's little that puts me in a worse mood than waiting for the bar staff to serve everybody else in the room (not necessarily at the bar) before they get to me.
