VW Golf. Almost new (1 very brief previous owner). Rock solid car but unexciting (i.e. didn't have any GTi bells and whistles).
An N reg mustard mini 1000 with more rust than metal spent 6 months doing it up and respraying British Racing Green with a white roof and bonnet stripes....fitted with the obligatory k&n air filter, carburetor and rc40 single box exhaust Loved that car....
