I'll try and explain again. You got neg rep and abuse because it is a forum and you were yourself abusive to others. In a face to face "real life" situation you would face the risk of violence for giving the same abuse. That is the point I was making. Nothing more nothing less. Personally speaking you can call me a dumb **** if you want. That is your opinion and I can take it on the chin. Calling a whole category of people the same thing, however, is ignorant and offensive to many people who have done nothing to deserve it. That is what angered me and which I was direct enough to point out. As for your last point, I am not suggesting that you have to be scared of anybody specific or of Geordies in general.

Seems to me that there are a lot of very immature people on here which sadly makes this more like "not as good as 606". I have met people and football fans from many areas and some other countries and generally find the majority to be decent people who love the game and support their team and whilst some micky taking etc is usually enjoyed by all and we can all take it a bit far at times during the heat of the moment, especially during a match, outright abuse is not neccesary particularly on a website and smacks of the kind of thing which led to the hooliganism we endured at the game in the past. Anyone who says they hate/dislike everyone from one area or all fans of one team or tags them all as being the same simply shows their own ignorance. As for speaking English correctly i am personally proud and happy to speak in my own dialect, yes Geordie, as are most other people from all areas of the country and quite rightly too. As for wums, hmmm i always find them pretty sad. Can't you find someone on here to have a sensible conversation with? Good luck for the new season to all proper football fans, except when you play Newcastle United of course.
