A lone striker in front of Aluko would mean he wouldn't get a ball unless he went after it himself. Might as well play with 10 men - we did for most of last season when Aluko and/or Hernandez were in the side.
If there is a God please strike these two with lightning.

I wouldn't even want Aluko in the local MLS teams starting 11 as a striker. He isn't 1/4 the striker that Wondo is. Aluko should be on the wing or sitting his ass on the bench.

People have really short memories with regards to Aluko.

Up until his injury in the Championship he was fantastic as a number 10.

Bristol City away, Leeds home, Milwall and countless more in the first half of the season he was fantastic.

He's had a tough couple of years in the Premier League. But I'm sure he'll be quality with a full pre season under his belt.

Aluko is a selfish glory hunting waste of space, and I hope the rumours are true and Bournemouth come in for him. They can have him.

You clearly never saw him in the Championship.

8 goals and 3 assists in 22 games says he wasn't a waste of space.

What about Tom Ince? How many premier league goals has he scored? We should get rid of him too he's obviously not good enough. Robbie Brady didn't score enough premier league goals, he's ****e get rid. Tom Huddlestone didn't score at all last season he'll never be good enough for the championship. Steven Quinn, also ****e, didn't score enough goals. Get rid of them all, maybe a conference side will take a gamble on some of them...

You'd have a point if them two season's where in the Championship, but they wasn't. It was in one of the world's best league against top players. He has injuries, not always first choice and we wasn't exactly a free flowing open team.

In the Championship where probably going to be at least top half, where going to have a lot more possession against weaker teams.

The last time he was in the Championship he was one of the best players in the league up up until his injury.

Ince rarely played for us and when he did, Bruce played him in the wrong position. It took a lot of effort to get him here and he's obviously a talented player, yet Bruce thought signing Ben Arfa was necessary on deadline day; it wasn't.

Anybody who thinks Aluko wouldn't be an asset for us in the Championship clearly never saw him play in our promotion season.

Just got a feeling that he'll be on his way, because AA leave all footballing matter's to SB and nobody going to ask SB " why the **** did you want him " when we could have spent the 2+ million pound on someone who would have played for us.

We'd b crazy to let go of Tom, but I think it will probably happen. As someone mentioned, needs to be played coming in from the right and he'll do well.

Along with Ince and Zaha, Aluko was the best player in the championship in our promotion season. Then he got injured around Xmas time. I actually thought at the time Aluko had more natural talent than them both

Definitely, Ince and Zaha scored and created goals aplenty, but they always looked as if they were trying their utmost hardest and at their very best. Aluko just did it naturally with absolute ease, he'd twist and turn and defenders didn't know whether to go forwards backwards right or left.

I can't remember seeing a player live in the flesh just running rings around people as if he was taking a stroll in the park like Aluko did in the championship up until he got injured. It was almost like watching Messi play. He was just a cut above almost every other player in the second tier.

DanKelly is his biggest critic. I wonder how Dan rated him back in 2013? Well, he picked him up front in his Championship "dream team" made up of players from the top 6 teams at the time, and this was in a "signing of the season" thread:
