I know - it is terrible isn't it - he actually would like people to be able to pass on their homes to their children - what a wicked man he is. Of course in Scotland there are few areas where a home is worth enough to put you in danger of inheritance tax

And up here, we all know why that is - and we all know the owners of the few who would benefit from that too. As well as which political party their lordships pay homage to. :)

BB you are taking quite a long time to produce your evidence of alleged wrongdoing by 'Cameron's organisation'. Are you struggling because it is clearly a figment of your imagination.

I think it would take an investigation by another 'leftie' organisation... oh yes perhaps the award winning panorama team..... to unearth 'evidence'

    Perhaps we could start with

    1) the funding on political parties
    2) their links with the media

Can it be deduced that you simply have no evidence of corruption by Cameron's organisation?

I don't... no... but I never have said I had any... if so I would go to the police of course ;)

What I am saying, I will spell out more clearly... is that it would take good investigative journalism .... not just the views of one fairly average football supporter!

But perhaps some in depth analysis of

    1) the funding of political parties
    2) their links with the media

    would be 'interesting'

If any of us on here had evidence of such a kind we would be working as judges not writing on a football forum ! Time to change the record I think.

So it is ok to slur our politicians and just hope you can find wrongdoing later? It really does not help your cause.

Maybe an analysis of the 28 million Pounds which the Tories received from sponsors in 2014 - and what those sponsors got for their money. Or the 16 million spent on the election campaign (twice Labour's sum).

I don't play the left-right game my friend....

the extremes are equally odious IMO

Let's go for real inclusivity in our society

I suspect that it would have to done by someone else - Panorama investigations have been known to ditched without explanation. Can't think why...<whistle>

There's another shock headline. Tories get their money from the rich. I wonder if that is partly because they help create wealth for them - as well as for the 11+million people who voted for the Tories as opposed to funding from Unions who in many unions compel their members to pay fees for the Labour Party as well as for the unions themselves. I would like to see an investigation into union corruption.

That's easy - Panorama is part of the Beeb which is generally left leaning so when they cannot find the Tory wrongdoing they want to find they ditch their non programme.

Then follow Scotland's lead - one of the reasons why the Labour party here are seen as dead in the water is that such financial support from unions is being withdrawn. That and their apparent 180 degree shift of course...

When I was a telephone engineer I belonged to the union but was able to opt out of funding the Labour Party if I so wished! <ok>

How is that a left versus right point? It is just Beeb incompetence - he was one of their own after all.
Also I do not really believe the Beeb is any more left biased than right biased but since we seem to be playing the game of totally unsubstantiated slurs against politicians and organisations I thought I would play too

Lucky for you - not all unions operate an opt out clause

That was true for me too in education..

Let's face it unions were formed as a defence against exploitation by the owners of the means of production... and the labour party were formed to represent these workers politically.... It is easy for some people to demonise the workers...

This sort of polarisation is endemic to our two party adversarial left-right political system which in the main forms governments which are no representative..... and then we go on about our great democracy...
