From the router, probably about 40 metres. I havent paced it out. I'd feel bad anyway cancelling my multiroom now after the engineer spent about 6 hours coming up with an elaborate wiring system so I could have it in there. He was cheery about it like even though I screwed up his scheduling for the rest of the day
He's had 19571 posts on here amber and I don't think I have read one yet that wasn't ****ing nonsense.
I streamed every episode of Vikings directly on my smart TV wirelessly, the stream was faultless, no buffering and in HD. So no Lambo you don't need wires to stream on a smart TV.
Is this TVMC thing just for Smart TVs, or can you download it to run on Windows? If so, I'll do that and connect it to the telly via HDMI. As OLM says, bit too much messing about for everyday use, but worthwhile for tonight's game I reckon.
Even after learning that I can watch it on ITV regardless, I'd like to get this working so I don't have to put up with their coverage. I've installed TVMC but I'm ****ed if I know where to find Sky Sports on it. Do I need to install an add-on or is it on one of the existing ones. They just look like random words to me. Had a browse through a few of 'em for Sky Sports but couldn't see it. Anyone?
Try this. In TVMC find Phoenix, then Staael2014, then Live TV, then LIVE SPORT. You should find them all there. Alternatively watch ITV.
You are still watching SKY, just illegally without paying. If some people didn't pay for SKY the programmes wouldn't be there for you to watch. Using an Amazon fire stick , that can be plugged into anything, TV, PC, laptop depending on what you want to watch.
If it isn't a Smart TV useHDMI or an Amazon fire stick or similar. I use one and it is great, has its own small remote and you just leave it plugged into an HDMI socket.
Have you managed to install Kodi on the firestick, pretty awkward to do by what I've read on the Kodi forums.
A freind of my has got a Openbox V8S , he swears by it, paid about 50 quid gets all sky football, bt , premier sport, and setanta for live sat 3pm games all free no subs Anyone else got one? Seems to good to be true
At £20 for non-broadband customers, BT Sport is looking **** value, I expect more and more people are going to be switching to accessing streams via these new services. As a consequence, I expect BT and Sky will increase their efforts to block them.
Iv looked on Amazon and they are selling these Openboxs with a " free 24th Gift "...thats the free subs to sports movies etc How can they sell them on amazon without getting done by police etc?
