Seems a done deal after passeing a medical and agreed personal terms. http://www.newsatden.co.uk/48664-millwall-set-to-complete-deal-for-defender.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Martin_(footballer) Not given up on Bradford striker James Hanson either yet although deal is complicated by the stalled takeover talks.
Bigger than the kent massive, delusional ****er. God knows how you would cope if you had ever been champions of Europe.
No point any more, when three in a bed got binned there was nothing left to discuss with the Derby wannabes.
It will be interesting to see how Joe Martin get's on at Wall. He certainly got my wrath over time gone by. However, under Martin Allen we saw a different player emerge. Keep him confined purely to the left back role and it won't bode well, allow him to be an attacking left back as given by MadDog in our Championship season, then Joe Martin may do well, although don't expect him to peddle back quick enough if caught out. As the OP report states, give him a dead ball, then you have a quality striker. If you already have a quality left winger, then this would be a bad purchase because JM could never combine well with the overlap, whether it be Barcham, Weston or more recent additions, hence why Garmston was brought in.
Playing for wall they won't be doing much attacking, so he will only ever be playing in the defensive third....
LB Joe Martin and keeper Jordan Archer have put pen to paper. http://www.newsatden.co.uk/48858-neil-harris-completes-his-first-signings-as-millwall-boss.html Nice one bomber and now go get the other two.
ow dear a player not good enough for Gillingham, keeper off on a free and a crap rookie as replacement, not looking good is it ?
Seems that way mate and you could take this part of the story either way so we'll see, 'The former Cardiff City keeper is expected to leave Millwall and has been linked with a number of Championship clubs, but boss Neil Harris gave little away this week when he said he wanted to bring in someone to provide competition for the Ireland international. Forde can leave on a free transfer after the Lions’ relegation. And, at a critical juncture in his career, Scotland U21 international Archer obviously feels he can establish himself in the first team this season.' Bottom line is Fordey won't be considered for the Mick's playing third tier footy but good luck to him if he goes. Welcome to the board btw mate.
Apparently we're on the verge of completing the Hanson deal as well, to be announced this Thursday. The Bradford money grabbing chairman must have relented as apparently he was holding out for 500k!! Expect Mawson to be the other signing of the four that Bomber expects before Portugal.
As I said to Paul, Norman! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jordan_Archer https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Martin_(footballer) Seem to have magically appeared without any help from me.
