Well after losing Gerrard we could do with another proper Liverpool great at the club... You can't deny that he'll be more help to the defence than pascoe

In all seriousness, when he has his coaching badges, how about Xavi before he goes back to Barca as a manager?

    I am wondering right now....

If the manager loses most of the staff.... well does this signal the impending arrival of a technical director?

I mean ok it could literally be rodgers hires mark ii rodgers coaching team but it could be technical director says we get X and y.

If rodgers allows in hyppia etc imo it will be like lambert at Villa allowing keane in.

Inevitably as hyppia has been a manager despite him being about as spectacular as rodgers I think people will see him as the next guy.

Any time hyppia has been back at Anfield he's been mobbed.

    Total legend round here

If he had belief in himself Rodgers should have insisted on his own coaching staff staying or he walks away.(spineless bastard). One less xmas card for Pascoe to buy!

Great news that pascoe is leaving. Get rid of the dross on and off the pitch.

Will be interesting to see if Rodgers will be loyal to his men and resign or stay. Either way, FSG are taking action.

Not sure about Hyypia - has a poor record of being a coach at Leverkusen and Brighton, and his defensive style is not the way Rodgers wants to play (high line).

Rene Meulensteen is the perfect number 2 for Rodgers. Incredible talented coach with impressive CV, AND readily available.

So he chucked Pascoe under the bus as well then in order to save his own skin.....

He must have been up against it in that meeting, especially if he's agreed to a strong character coming in as his new right hand man.

Another name mentioned is Alex Inglethorpe - highly regarded at the club and could be in line for a promotion.

As much as we all love hypia, have got to agree with this.

  17. Called it two years ago. I only went as far as playing staff though. Just Lucas and Skrtel remain now.

  18. What if it was just Brod ignoring the Head of Opposition Analysis?

Do you really think that is how Rodgers plays it? If that was the case there would almost certainly be a rift between them. It would also be known to FSG that Brod was ignoring his staff and losing games because of it imo.

I get devil's advocate when there is some practicality involved :D
