Breaking with speed is something we miss badly. Thought it was worth posting to show this kid can do that as well. They benched him for that game. The mind boggles.
Funky, the last thing Sunderland needs is some young kid who's cost us bugger all turning up and getting into the first team and scoring goals! What will the rest of strikers think. Toys will be thrown out of prams and it'll get ugly!! Get rid I tell ya get rid!
I don't understand mate. From the little I've seen of him he seems a top, top prospect, but noone in the game seems to fancy him? From Advocaat picking Honeyman and some other youngun (can't remember who?) for the bench ahead of him, to him constantly being subbed off / benched for the U20s when he's seemingly far and away their best player? Is it something we're just not getting from watching through a screen?
Why's that fella? I respect our situation at the end of last season even though I thought we should have given him a shout. I wouldn't worry. I'm confident he'll be featuring next season.
Was just being rested today he's started all 3 previous games and must be knackered. WIll start on Sunday.
Still picks a poor team does our Aidy, he needs to be substituted imo. I don't know who, if anybody is coaching these lads, but we look the worst organised squad in the tournament. The kids have done well, or been lucky, to get so far with such poor management, but one or two of them have looked hopeless at this level, and have been given far too much time on the pitch, the center forward springs to mind.
