    no, it's one of the most misquoted quotes! i think it's Ingrid who actually says it. humphrey just say 'play it' or 'play it Sam'.

    I love it mate! Watch it every Christmas. Like I said, it's my no.1 film.

    It brings back wonderful memories in spite of that night!

    'this is this' is permeated by "this ain't something else" ... as they drive into the mountains and stan has been a useless twat, again...

    one of my top 3. i watched it for the first time when me ma died. the movie and music still get to me.... i dare say i adopted the Mike self-preservation mode for a while

    Awesome film! We nearly walked out early on, then wham, you're in Vietnam!

    I worked with Yanks and Aussies in Saudi in the mid-eighties who'd been there. Many of them were still pretty much ****ed up. Watching films about that war weren't the same after that.

    But the Michael J Fox film, Casualties of War. That gets to me as well.
