Suited my old cyber buddy, does your christian name begin with N?

    If not then you're right.

The claim to fame, or lack of it, is via Charlie Crickmore (who very few will remember these days - sorry Charlie).

But how is it a claim to fame that you fancied the sister of a City player?!?

Shared a house in Sarf Tottenham and Graham Simpson, original bass guitarist and a founder of Roxy Music stayed on and off for a couple of months in 1972 after he had left the group.
Near misses..1 Picked up someone from a flat in Hampstead and told Rod Argent (Argent) was inside.2 Dealt with a planning application for a recording studio in Hornsey for The Kinks but didn't meet them.3 Wandered around Ringo Starr's garden in Highgate on a site visit but again he was no where to be seen..

I posted it so that you could have a claim to fame by saying you responded to one of my posts on here.

Left winger - excellent player in the late 50's early 60's. He was at the final game at B.P. - Waggy helped me get his and many other old stars autographs that day - maybe about 30 signatures inside the front cover of Waggy's autobiography.
Met a lot of my old City heros that day - most of 'em around my age.

Seems like the thread is deteriorating into a slanging match amongst the usual suspects (you know who you are!)

So back on topic, how about this, I once served drinks to Olivia Newton-John in her dressing room at a club she was performing at and where I was working as a waiter. I walked in and she was sitting in front of a mirror in her underwear!!!!! Now, for a 16-year-old (me) this was pretty special and I doubt I've had a bigger hard-on since.
I think the club was the Westfield in Cottingham, anyone remember that?

    Knew it well.

Now the Fair Maid of course.

Spent many a night there when it was the height of East Yorkshire sophistication.

    Honestly.

They actually used to get some good acts on when the country club scene was the place to be.

If you were there 1968/69 I may well have served you drinks (or spilled them over your table, I wasn't very good at waitering...)

I remember the Westfield but I always found it to be over-rated and pretentious.
