its long past working together. pak is managing in own right.. same as say steve clarke... Its only the rare guy at the outset like say tony adams (who never should have gone for it day one) who go back as assistant.... or roy keane who admitted he was a ****e manager.
we will see... I cannot see pascoe going without rodgers going though... You have to let rodgers have someone to massage his feet etc.
He promoted him from the youth teams in the first place so I think that'd be quite a lame excuse. Funny how Mike Marsh wasn't a problem last season when finishing 2nd but now we finish 6th and he's the thing holding us back.
who knows lads.. we have no idea what the review said and so this is just one thing that came out... OR as his contract was up we might not ever have being renewing it. we just do not know.
Isn't it a shame they promoted him and ditched him, he probably would have been happier staying at the academy. I just don't like seeing the scouser clear out.
Pascoe is going as well. Guess Rodgers was only kept on if he agreed to let FSG choose his coaching staff?
Any sauce for pascoe? I mean ok the reality these two are the least qualified coaches at lfc by the info I researched. Perhaps only rodgers got a new contract last year and as all of the others expired fsg told rodgers there would be no renewed and he could resign if he didn't like it. It's all speculation one way or the other What it says is either we are back to lunacy where one guy rodgers does it all or we will see 3/4 hires this summer I would like to see a hyppia or a carragher hire if they have the badges done personally but think more likely someone down at academy will be asked to step up. Most are highly qualified at least
Sky are reporting pascoe is off with big Sami or zenden coming in as number 2. Sami yes yes yes yes!!! He'll sort out our defence
http://www1.skysports.com/football/...ol-assistant-manager-pascoe-to-leave-the-club What's the point letting a coach go in favour of ones with even less experience? They may have been great players but doesn't really mean they'll be great coaches.
Sami has lots of experience with leverkusen and then Brighton. Didn't work as manager at Brighton but as assistant and early doors as manager at Leverkusen did extremely well
If we were appointing another assistant manager with the same record as that, I doubt anybody would really be happy and everyone would complain. I think the fact he was such a legend for us as a player is clouding our judgement of him.
Hyppia coaching qualifications are far more than Colin pascoe at least. We don't know who it will be. Hyppia I'd just first reaction on internet
