I don't really have a personal problem with Milner, I think he's a decent player, but that's the problem with our whole transfer policy. All of the players we've been linked with thus far are 'decent'. Ings, Milner, Benteke, Bogdan etc. None of them are really impressive or going to improve us massively if at all. They'd be "really good signings" IF WE WERE QPR. According to our owners we have ambitions of being a club regularly challenging on all fronts but our transfer business tells a totally different story.
We've got Toure too. Hopefully we'll be signing Tevez to make a quarter although I'd prefer to stock to three with Mario ****ing off
Exactly. The signings are uninspiring and are not going to get us to the next level. Now of course, the window hasn't even opened yet so I expect plenty of business but the likes of Ings, Milner, Bogdan just look cheap, quick fixes. It's embarrassing.
