Anger issues Bob. When I miss boy band members with a snowball I'm inspired to go away and practice my aim. I don't punch their other halves in the face. I met Charlie once. And James. And Matt. When they were on their way up. A girl I knew was a teacher called Miss McKenzie so they were introduced to her natch. I was a kind of chaperone. I nicked their tour manager's lighter. Accidently obvs. Still got it somewhere. I'll stick it on Ebay. Any offers?
I played in the 18 year old World Series, played lots on TV. I have a baseball card of myself and there are posters of me still hanging up in a couple sports bars in VA. I have spent time in jail with and know the real life Seldom Seen Smith from the book the Monkey Wrench Gang. He is still alive but is pretty old now. I come up a ton on Google for arrests and convictions for similar arrests such as that one. I have met and talked to lots of people in the US government that you would have heard of from dinner parties and such bc of my father.
The Queen waved to me. Bill Clinton waved to me. I was the only one there at the side of the road on each occasion when they waved
I'm responsible for the colour of the seats at the KC Stadium. I was in a meeting with Birse and they were struggling to work out how to appease fans of both City and Eff Cee so I drew a picture for them and they implemented it exactly. Next time your arse is snuggly sat watching City, think of me.
About a year ago I went to Pinewood Studios and went on the set of the new Star Wars film. Then security caught up with me. No, but seriously, I went there. And it was ****ing ace. As a result I also met JJ Abrams and Andy Serkis amongst others who shall remain hidden...
I was threatened by the Queen. No, not "a" queen, "The" Queen. Had just taken a fabulously framed photograph of her on the other side of a German Shepherd. Sedated. The dog not the Queen obvz, on its back and she pointed at it. Dog on its back at the front of the frame, Queen behind, finger pointing towards it's bollocks. It was a visit to a Military Police Dog training centre, and the Vet was waffling on about their hips and how they needed checking. "That photograph had better not appear anywhere young man...". "You can trust me ma'am, I'm a photographer" She glared at me. True story.
Back in the mid 1950’s, as a very young lad, I sent a drawing of a goalkeeper making a diving save to Dave Teece, City’s then reserve keeper who I thought was great, I was only allowed to go to reserves at that time. He shortly after turned up at our house not far from the ground with a signed photo of himself in training in the Bunkers Hill end goalmouth. Not much you may think but to a young kid it was amazing. Sadly the picture has been lost over the years, but the memory remains.
I was on our celebratory open top bus tours for both promotions under Taylor. I've met almost all the 'big name' players and managers in this country over the last decade, although most of them are dull as hell. Rafa was the most surprising, I hate his management approach but I have to admit he was genuinely lovely. I've been on 15 to 1.
I also attended the private players party at sugar mill in 2008 to celebrate winning the playoffs. Duffen shook my hand and thanked me for my hard work over the previous season, he thought I was staff, Bryan Hughes got the nachos in, Nicky Featherstone kept buying rounds of sambucas and I was stood on the balcony arms round Campbell and Pederson singing We are the champions! Great night
One thing Duffen did was to circulate in the concourses of away grounds and chat to fans. I spoke with him.Think it was at Norwich
