As a deeper laying creative midfielder you'd want to be comparing him to Cazorla then. And I'd take Cazorla over coutinho too!
I do like Cazorla but he's too patchy. On his day / purple patch he's class, but that's just not often enough.
I watch every arsenal match without fail I doubt you pay arsenal that much attention and I can honestly say ozil is one of the 1st players on the team sheet he's a driving factor in our teams success
He started the season slowly like most of our team did but he finished the season with 8 goals and 15 assists, last season 7 and 9 in less games, the season before 12 and 14. So coutinhos best season for you is yet to match any of cazorlas last three years (by stats). I think he has been one of our consistent performers tbh... He has had a couple of off games I can think of but in general he always performs. It's funny how we end up with such different opinions of players depending on when and how often we see them play
I think the rating that the opposition who play against both give them is more important than the rating of either someone who really only watches Liverpool or Arsenal matches.
Ozil has been very good over the past few months. Has a tendency to go missing but if you can accommodate that, then you will get to see his genius. World class player.
