Does anyone remember the old colouring books that had tracing paper pages in as well so you could draw [trace] and colour in. And painting by numbers - happy days.

 

I use a laptop or PC for work, but purely for social stuff at home I use an ipad as they're so handy, just to have it to hand and pick up without having to mess about booting the thing up or plugging it in.

I said for ages that I wouldn't have one, as I didn't see the point as I also have an iphone, but I couldn't live without one now.

yeah all the social stuff is designed round that instant access. A mac book is not exactly not insant access either comapred to a windows laptop.

 

I personally am waiting for next issue of samsung tablets.

I switched from iphone due to several issues i had with updates and just not liking them. to samsung galaxy s6. .. much much better... only issue i have is manual sync

The tabS looks very nice for viewing stuff. 10.5" screen. I don't see the point of the whole 7 or 8" versions as the phone is there.

 

My ipad is about goosed, so I might have a look at them when they arrive.

 

they i think no longer have the expansion memory to throw in movies... but disappointed with that but they ALL want to trap our data in the club they offer.

Samsung tabs are poor. Sony xperia tabs and the hudl are the only ones to go with on the Android front.

If you go for Samsung, the oversized note tablets are decent.

We have a Samsung 4 tablet for the kids and an ipad in the gaff, the samsung pisses all over the iPad

 

It depends what you use your tablet for. The front and rear facing cameras / FaceTime, iTunes are what I like.

 

I am talking performance of apps in general, the Samsung is just better and faster after I configure both tablets.

The iPads are more intuitively configured for ease of use though but perf wise I prefer the samsung

 

Have samsung massively stepped up with the tab 4 as the 1 2 and 3 tabs were dreadful. Performance was measured in eons. I think they had less than 1kb ram and the processor was a dead mouse in a straight edged wheel....
