Read the comments underneath...most from Arsenal, Spurs, ManU etc....v. few from Saints fans. Even if he goes...perhaps not the most tactful comment.
Yep, no need, we all know our positions, lets keep it nice Morg. (hope someone put 'you wish' to the spud fan)
Does rather look that way. I would have thought he'd have learned to stop throwing them bait on twitter though.
Thought he'd have learnt from last time...fans misread innocuous remarks and we sure as hell can read the obvious ones.
*happy clapper warning* He could of course just have got caught in two minds over which can to join and is sat there thinking that he may as well stay at Saints!!!
Stuff like this winds us up, especially now that we can see ourselves rising to the top and feel thwarted by a player's (perhaps natural) desire to play for one of the big guns before they retire. However, removing our red and white glasses, reveals that this is happening to all clubs....just read any football column or watch the sports news at the moment. All we can hope for is to screw the courting clubs so we can replace 2 for 1 and for the departing player to then fail miserably Sorry...I can only be so reasonable
I wont be taking part in any "Thanks for the Memories" thread. I won't boo him, but I refuse to get sentimental over any player that's moved on to bigger and 'better'.
I thought I would be okay about him leaving after he stayed the extra year, but I am unreasonably cross. Must keep remembering what he has done for us during our last few years. You would think we would be used to it by now, but in the past we were a struggling side and could understand players leaving...we are on the verge of achieving something great if we could just keep a team together for a while. Good luck Morgan or, as they say in show biz, break a leg. #bitterfan
P.s. defo wouldn't boo Morgan...we don't want to turn into those kind of fans. Let's just keep it special for Lovren.
