Either Ethernet or WIFI works fine. I've got one box wired in via Ethernet and another 2 boxes connected WIFI, they all work fine.
Hang on I read your post wrong, they connect to the TV via HDMi cables, its the router that can be connected either Ethernet or wifi
I don't care about the finer points other than I prefer sky HD multi room. That is the only FACT that matters. It that clear enough for you.?
Why bother with Sky multi room or whatever the **** it's called when you can take your laptop wherever you want and plug it into any TV you want and watch stuff anywhere you want? Sky is ****. FACT.
A bit rich coming from a complete moron as you obviously are. btw,, my name is not Richard, completely not Richard. Ok.?
I've got Sky via multiroom on a big screen tv in my Man Cave. This isnt connected to the house and there's no telephone line and therefore internet. What do you suggest i do if I want to watch live tv?
Nope. As I said there's no internet. It's too far away from my wifi source in the house, which is the best fibre optic that BT offer.
Personally, I think being able to turn on my tv is far preferable to having to **** about plugging my laptop into anything. I can see the benefit of something permanent, that's just as easy as switching on a tv, but carting around equipment just to watch tv sounds like a right ****ing ball-ache to me.
It's really, really far away.... You have a point on most cases in the house but for my Man Cave Sky multiroom really is the best option.
You're just making yourself look even more daft now. There was no 'whoosh' statement from you, you simply can't grasp what we're discussing on this link. You've tried saying you get more on Sky than we get on Kodi, when challenged you couldn't reply, you really don't have a clue. Maybe start your own thread for those who love Sky or don't but either way I'd suggest leaving this thread to those in the know, when It comes to streaming and those who want to learn about Kodi, unless you just want to keep arguing for arguing's sake?
You can get extremely long Ethernet cables that could be routed via the outside of the house, much like your sky cable is.
