To be honest, i'm not sure he will do that well. His recent spells in the league suggest hes not cut out for a consistent league challenge, especially when you have to rack up the wins. Rafa just draws too much in the leagues. Even during that title challenging season, Rafa's issue was he drew too many. I will give him 1 year

Isco would be quality! But if there is one player I'd have, it would be Varane.

Superstar in the making, and he and Sakho would dominate.

it's al liga where the moeny buys success. simple as.
at cheslea your sainted players bascially got one man sacked and didn't support him so threw games and also really did throw the fa cup and all.

When you've ronaldo up top and bale, isco et al behind that really the biggest deciding factor is who do real buy for him as he needs a proper midfield and they threw khederia away stupidly imo.

I think he will be decided upon in the cl not anywhere else.

good committee work that.. send ayre off now to negotiate varane and isco for sterling. I'm sure he'll come back with a sombrero, bad tan and a pocket full of old pesetas that they found under a settee that he think is worth more than 20p.

The irony is they were key to saving us from collapse, but instrumental in our decline by sacking Rafa and appointing Roy.

well G&H had seen to that.

one would have to say that one would dearly like to know eactly what was going on at that time.

had rafa already lined up inter before G&H made their call... were g&H forcing him out? was it just mutual as they said.... we certinly got no componsation for him and there was a gap between the sack and him siging with inter... very small gap mind.

I think the appointment of mr softee as our manager was sinful but i expected no more of G&H at the time.

Quite a few people have mentioned that he's taking a new position at Standard Chartered. Think he fell out with the board since the Mo Salah fiasco and Mike Gordon has been running things since - hence why his name is now appearing in public far more.

G&H aren't football men. Neither is Purslow or Ayre but as the British/Local senior figures, they were tasked with bringing in the replacement.

Sacking Rafa and Roy is arguably the single worst decision this club has made in recent history. When you hire unknown/mid table managers like Roy and Rodgers, this is what you get.
