    I would like to get some feedback on match day threads so we can get ready for next year.

    1. we had a few different people do them last year

    2. We had variable content. Is there anything really desired.. more polls, less poll, more insults towards mods etc

    3. We had variable timing on threads. Do you want them started monday each week for example.

    4. Volunteers to run the show. I would actually knid of like to give it a go next year but would like to hear from all and then we can see who would like to do them etc.

    When I would do it I would usually post the next fixture thread as soon as the previous fixture finished because once one game is over it's natural for attention to turn to the next

    Some people might only care a day or so before the game, but IMO the thread should exist for those who do want to give their thoughts and it's better than in the end of the last match thread or in some other random thread

    Also the longer the thread is up, the greater chance it will attract input from rival fans which is usually good

    You can't rely on one poster to do them. For example if it was Astro's responsibility then he'd not be available to do match threads after any defeats as he has to be out of the country until the next decent result.
