Snodgrass should be ready for pre season. Diame I suspect wont be ready until late August or early September.

Why ? At least we wont have any PL clubs trying to get him. In saying that it will take him time to get back to where he was. We have enough in the squad already to cope in August.
We do that a lot, only to suffer worse repercussions, who is involved in our medical team? The list of poor decisions on medical grounds is endless. From not signing Austin to rushing players back far too early. If the club make any positive changes in the close season, this is where I would start. Frankly, it's diabolical.
That's precisely what I meant - if he's not fit until after the deadline has passed then nobody will sign him and we'll have him at least until Jan 1st.
These players have more time off than women get through Statutory Maternity leave. Are they made of glass and waiting for the glue to set?
How many times have we seen that now? Players get a bad injury, they're out for a season but then wait, they might be back in 6 weeks. No, if the doctors say "8 months" then it's 8 months, it shouldn't matter how much the player wants to get back out there, not until he's had the green light from the medical staff. Somebody, for the love of God, inform the club that rushing players back is NOT a good idea and that it hasn't worked the last 8 or 9 times, so it's pointless trying again.
If anyone seriously thinks Diame will play for us in the championshit, they're painfully deluded. He'll be out on loan the moment his injury clears up.
It's funny, those of us saying that our continually huge injury list was down to more than just bad luck and that injuries were being mismanaged with players rushed back too fast got slaughtered on here. Up until Bruce came out in his interview a month or two back admitting he was to blame for throwing players back in before they were ready. He took blame again for the injuries on the final day. The Bruce In Brigade have gone a bit quiet on that front now... Looks like more folks are starting to see more of what I've seen all along. The Bruce Out Brigade is growing fast. He is a useless **** to be fair.
