    This, agree!

Oh and I'm getting tired of FM11.. it's burning out to quickly for me now! After doing well with Reading I can't seem to find another enjoyable save.. so I might aswell wait for FM12 right?

Happened with me a few times, but then I just get a urge to play it again. I'm the 3rd best British manager in history apparently according to this now, still like x3 less points than SAF.

That happened with me, I never got into a solo save on FM10 after my FM09 save, I only enjoyed a network save I did with a couple of friends.

**** me. What've you you won? & with Newcastle?

I'll boot it up some time tonight but out the top of my head EPL 3 times, CL twice, FA cup, League Cup, Community shield 3 times i think, Copa America, Euro Super cup once or twice and the Uefa cup. I am finding the EPL too easy because its based on a number of games, always seem to do well in Europe even when I managed a CL place in first season I ended up semis or quarters against Madrid. But the national cups, sometimes when I face a good team I just fold, and it really pisses me off.

EDIT: Yeah that's all right but I won the Club World Championship to.

Quite an impressive resume! Stayed at one club throughout?

I usually do better in national competitions than I do in the CL or regular cups. <doh>

Yeah been at Newcastle throughout, finished 2nd first season (which I've done on my old toon save using different tactics), then 5th following season, didn't win anything till 3rd and just steam rolled league and CL since. I've been at like 5 different national sides, just getting bored when no major competition and generally jumping to something better, England U21 > Cameroon > Mexico (got sacked for finishing 2nd in qualifiers, even though that's where i started with them) > Russia > Brazil.

Should of probably stuck with Brazil for World Cup but I quit that post after winning as I had learnt to speak Portuguese.

Been offered all "big club" jobs in England and got offered Barce with like 130 mil to spend.

My Newcastle stats are something like 2.05 goals a game to 0.88 conceded per game.

    Played 299 won 215, drawn 40 lost 44 with a 71% win ratio.

EDIT: I actually get more money when I play as Spartak Moscow winning only the league and russian cup (Transfer Budget) and the prize money in the russian league is dire like 500,000 for winning league.

2nd in your first season? ****ing hell <yikes>. Puts my 11.3 Newcastle save to shame! (only just started it mind). I always jump ship whenever another club comes in for me if they give me a bigger budget. I'm basically Andy Carroll in manager form <wah>

Managing Russia is where I had most success in national football, not on FM11 mind, the older ones.

When the update for the transfer window is out, it might just breathe some new life into the game!

There isn't an official update after the summer transfer window, would impede on the next versions sales, and I've yet to see a fan-made custom updated database which actually does it well.

Turkey looks like it will be a good footballing nation on mine soon, found some good players there, aswell as Argentina. I'm actually going to moscow in about a months time :).

BTW the money situation and Toon doesn't improve I had 60 mil to spend this season but I still had 40mil from last season.

FIFA do that as well don't they? Don't update squads after the summer so you need to buy the next game.

Correct. No game developer in their right mind would release a squad update within months (or weeks in FIFA's case) of the next installment. By the time this transfer window closes we'll probably have the FIFA 12 demo anyway.

Yeah but FIFA only update their squads after the end of the summer transfer window and January even though this year the update came in March

Resigned from the Toon just to see how they will pan out, Mancini tipped to take the job along with Rafa Benitez, David Moyes and Van Gaal.

    EDIT: Mancini took over.

So hard to get a new job, I click continue and it progresses like 5 months and I miss about 10 job openings that I would of been happy taking, guess I need them to come to me...

Mancini on verge of sack every month for only being 9th at Jan.

I usually holiday and click 'apply for all jobs' or just top division etc, then any club that wants you will come to you, and you will return from your holiday the day they come in so you wont miss out. <ok>

Cheers you know I'm not even Newcastle's favoured personnel anymore after being there for 4/5 years and bringing them so much success..
