Morning Doc, wouldn't be surprised if Blatter crawls underneath a rock, never to be heard of again, and when found, arrested, tried, and then in ill health, so cannot face justice.
Morning Mike, think Mills has had some bad injuried, though worth a punt on a freebie. Hope we secure Erwin. Looks very likely...
As he is under 24 years of age he would only be free if he joined a foreign team under the Bosman ruling. Leicester would still get a fee for him if he remained in the UK. Leicester have also offered him a new improved contract which he has turned down. We didn't get him on loan in January as we could not afford his wages, this guy has zero chance of joining us.
Because of the reasons I have just stated, what is there to not understand? 1) If he moves to a UK club there would be a large fee attached as he is under 24 2) Leicester have offered him an improved contract, he is probably on a contract already double or even triple what any of our players are on. There are two reasons why it wouldn't happen, the biggest reason is more to do with why would he want to leave Leicester a PL team who have offered him a new contract and why would he turn down Standard Liege to play for an average Championship club. Not a fan on here would say he wouldn't improve our squad, it is stating the obvious, you have to be realistic though, if you believe we will be bringing in players of this quality and cost you are in for a big shock.
Where have you been hiding, good to see you back and I have just given you your 300th like for your 8,300th post
I am worried and pleased that I have recieved a lot of likes in the last couple of weeks. These things matter to a saddo like me!!
Afternoon all. Barton would be a great addition, even for only a couple of years. It'll make up for losing Bamba... if we do
Nigel Adkins speaks glowingly about Billy Sharp but says he's a Leeds player and he needs time to assess the squad at the blunts
Bye bye Billy at least he'll be played in his preferred position, get plenty of game time and score plenty of goals. Not used correctly at Leeds and obviously not liked by Redders as he was overlooked most of the time in favour of the new barn door billy morro.
Billy Sharp is the best forward we have at the club by some distance.... That's is faint praise, but I don't cellino bringing in better if he offloads him.
been on holiday m8,good to be back though waiting for something to happen (THE HOPE IS THERE UNTILL WE SIGN THE FIRST CRAP PLAYERS)
Cheeky bastard. I have multiple accounts obviously. Coming out your way this weekend. Touring cars at oulton park on Sunday.
Evening all, Interesting article ... http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/massimo-cellino-promises-summer-signings-leeds-united-1504279? Liked these comments .... To boost those attempts to break into the top flight for the first time since 2004, Cellino has pledged to commit an extra £2.5m to the Leeds wage bill, but admits Rosler will have to go through him with any transfer proposals. "When I first came in, I had to pay £5m just to keep the club going," the returning Leeds owner said. "By the end of last season, we had lost £22million. Now the forecast is that we are close to break even. "We also had big wages last year. Nearly £21m in wages and we had an average age of 29. Now we have brought it down to £10.5m, but we have to attract new players, so it will go up to £13m and the average age is now 23.
