We need the fixture computer to be kind to us as a good start is even more important than usual.

I predict spurs or Southampton away first game,

  3. Just avoid newly promoted teams. They're always raring to go at the start of the season

I wish we could avoid every team because chances are we will drop points!

In all seriousness, whilst I don't back Rodgers, it doesn't mean that I want him to fail. I want him to prove me wrong and turn things around for the good of the club.

If Milner comes in, I wouldn't mind so much just as long as we buy a proper DM to supplement Milner, Henderson and Can. I don't see the logic in buying Ings but if it means we make a profit by selling Borini, then ok. Just as long as we get a proper striker with real pedigree.

There's a lot of doom and gloom on there (mostly from myself!), I now recognise that the summer is long and there is plenty of time to bring in quality, and not just the aforementioned targets.

borini to lazio = good moeny in form bad buy. 11mil gone.. 14mil turned down by the guy.. prob a fee as low as 6 mil... pity.
lambert to bournemouth = prob get 1 or 2 mil.. small fee. just consider it cover purchased and a couple of irrelevant goals. maybe paid his wages.
Balotelli to sampdori. will be very hard to push through. likely to lose at least 8mil on it. thats another 8.
aspas.. already going to seville. another bath taken

So why not take in ings, play him in cups and then sell him on if he's not the next alan shearer. 5 mil fee and sell for 15 seems good business over 12 months and how cheslea do their business (see lukaku)

Not too fussed on fixtures for once.
The massive mistake in keeping Rodgers is bad enough, it doesn't matter who we play.

If Brendan gets off to a poor start how long should the board give him before they say enough is enough and replaces him.? ....With who will be the question as all the good possible managers will already have been snapped up and working hard at their new clubs...
