Fergie has said that Nasri won't join Utd, but that 'I think he has agreed to go somewhere else."

Firstly it is up to Wenger to decide what happens to Narsi this season as he is still under contract with us.

Secondly, Fergie's guesswork is neither welcome nor invited. It's disrespectful to the player, Wenger and Arsenal.

Thirdly, if it were Wenger speculating on one of Utd's players, you can bet that Fergie would throw a hissy fit and turn a shade deeper than his expensive clarets.

Poor behaviour from Fergie in my opinion

wenger is letting his pride get the better of him. why would anyone not cash in now for possibly as much as 20 plus million when in 6 months time he can talk to clubs for nothing? i know he doesnt want to be bullied over players etc..but like fergie said its a brave call if he refuses to cash in and lets him leave for nothing a year later..and one i'm sure wont impress the money men at arsenal

sell him outside the Prem. inside is asking for trouble as he's a decent player. not to united, or chelsea, or man city. sell him to spurs for 20m :)

SAF mind games, plus sensationalism. Statement from SAF is initially reported as fact, then becomes clear he's speculating. Part about directors & being brave is a cheap shot/ sour grapes lol!

Now Man united will have to do their own P.R since the Murdoch organisation is up to their guts in nuts. We all know fergie is a P.R disaster when things don't go his way!

This is a bitter move from Fergie, because Narsi wants to stay with the club he is 'commited' to and not join Utd.

Apparently Utd put in an 'expression of interest' about Nasri, which Arsenal politely refuted. At no time would Fergie or his representatives have spoken to Narsi, so how Fergie can summise that 'I think he has agreed to go somewhere else' is just pure bunkum.

When Fergie doesn't get his own way he is so transparent with his bitterness.

I just read the same and came on here to vent my fury - but it seems you beat me to it!!!

why do other clubs, managers and players seem to think its ok to talk about arsenal players so freely. SAF has shown a clear lack of respect to arsenal football club there players and of course wenger himself by stating that our board are unhappy with wenger stance and that he thinks nasri is going elsewhere 24 hrs after wenger said he was staying!!!

What if wenger was to make the same claim towards utd and fergie? I'm sure fergie would sight us for 'tapping up' his players and would indeed throw all his toys out of his pram!!

This is the behaviour I would expect from someone new to the game or mourinho not someone who is apparently so respected in the game!!

Fergie may be a great manager, but he is as bitter as an old lemon when he doesn't get his own way. These comments are a classic example of his passive/agressive internal turmoil over not getting Nasri.

firstly wenger DOES NOT decide what happens to nasri as wenger might think he's nasri's guardian but in fact the players have the power these days..an arsenal and arsene haven't been very attractive recently ...pretty football and errrr

secondly who cares if its not welcome or invited..your starting to sound like the pussyfied character our club is slowly becoming by bitching about how its not "nice what he said" - boo hoo fergie don't care if he hurts feelings neither should we

and thirdly - hissy fit..who's throwing a hissy fit - you! kmt

Fergie's a right **** when it comes to transfers. I think it's a little naive to think that Fergie's being bitter, he's been around the block too many times to start acting petty.

I think you'd be mad to turn down £20mill for a player in his last year of contract but then again all we've had this morning is people coming on our board saying £27mill is plenty for Modric.

£20m is very good for a player in the last year in his contract as is an £27m prob a fair reflection on what modric is worth HOWEVER if the club doesnt want to sell the player doesnt get sold! SIMPLE! As much as you hear that players want moves they cant force a move if they are under contract - if a player does get sold its because it makes sense for that club to do business at that price - if this wasnt the case fabregas would of been a barcelona player two seasons ago! The difference is Nasri is free to speak to other clubs in 6 mnths whereas fabregas and modric are tyed down to long term deals!

Also its not moaning its not throwing 'hissy fits' as some ******ed individuals seem to think - its simply the facts that fergie has come out and spoke about Arsenal, the board and one of OUR players like HE was the manager of Arsenal FC! If another manager was to show the same type of disrepect to fergie, utd, there board and there fans - you wouldnt hear the end of it from the Sir Alex

You're right, if we don't want to sell then we won't. I was just commenting that it seemed like a lot of money that was being offered but, as with Modric, fans will feel stronger about keeping them.

As for Fergie, it was totally disrespectful and that's how he operates which is why he's a ****.

Firstly, you're wrong. Wenger DOES decide what's happening to Nasri this season as he is still under contract with Arsenal.

Secondly, regardless of your opinion about either me or our club becoming 'pussyfied' (which I will chose to disregard) it's still an unwelcome comment from Fergie.

Thirdly, I'm not throwing a 'hissy fit' at all - I was saying that if Wenger (or any other manager) had made those comments about a Utd player, then Fergie would be throwing a hissy fit.

    Thank you <ok>

Its not what SAF has said etc its the manner in which he thinks its his god given right to stir. How the hell can he possibly know what a player from another club is going to do? The arrogance is mind boggling. Can you imagine Wenger saying Rooney was on his way somewhere else, jesus SAF and his blood pressure would go through the roof.
