Didn't eat out much as we were half board, only tried a steak house just down from our hotel. I would definitely return like.

 

Aye,defo a place I would like to see again. Not too big and very easy to get around and see everything.

 

Sugar, Ice and Calypso were the 3 best for me! Especially Sugar and Calypso. Did you ever go in Shakers bar? Literally me and 2 mates went in and were the only 3 in there, even then just cashed in our free drinks won on crossbar challenge! Wow Rocket Man has completely lost it! Sung America by Neil Diamond and couldn't pronounce the r's properly! And had a his little dance as well!

 

I heard he went on holiday there 6 years ago and never returned. He gets £1000 a month pension, he used to work for the RAF and British Air Space. He turned up to Ice bar with his own karaoke machine and got smacked by the bouncer. Never went in Shakers, tried to go in Calypso but it was bloody heaving, we asked what the prices were like and we saw a menu, thought no chance!

 

I only saw him in Babylon at the very start of the strip, turned up in there both nights i was in there. He's a full on nutjob then pretty much. And Calypso is awesome, me and some mates done the Call on Me dance and the dancefloor filled up I thought the prices of drinks over there weren't great to be honest(£6.90 for a Magners in one place!) but the amount of free shots and fishbowls the PR's get you more than makes up for it!

 

I know the guy your talking about, he absolutely murdered East 17 Stay another day!!!! lol When I was over (17/06/11 for a week) prices were good 2euro a pint of local lager (1.50 in some pubs at the canal d'amour). And you could get buy 1 round get 1 free all night if you played the system. Shakers bar was quiet when I was there too. Sugar bar and Ice bar were the busiest. Did you guys get heavily annoyed by the local gypsie kids??

 

Aye, they are probably richer than we are Went into Sugar and had to pay 19euro for 2 stella's and 2 Vodka Lemonades, they sucked us in with the free shots.
