So, are we still 'all that is wrong with football'?

True - my wife tells me that Australia entered that this year - should they be changing the name to Euroceaniavision?

If nothing else, this surely indicates incompetence on Blatter's part...

I'm waiting for all the bilbical references from him which is usually what happens in these circumstances - what price he says "am I my brother's keeper"? It will be even funnier if he says "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" and one of the Scandinavians chucks a brick at him

So Blatter had to go to a second round of voting as he didn't have 60% in favour of him. No doubt when they all cast their votes for a second time the result will be the same and he will say that it shows huge confidence in his ability to change nothing.

Great quote from Gary Neville after Blatter was unbelievably re-elected...

At the end of the day, companies will always want to sponsor a World Cup and broadcasters will be desperate to show it. However, there is one body of people that could bring Blatter down that has hardly warranted a mention - the players.

The quickest and best way to bring Blatter down is to take players away from him. You will struggle to take the African or Asian votes away from him, but players can become a unified force.

Just think of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, the two biggest stars in the game right now, and consider a World Cup without those two.

The tournament would not exist if Ronaldo and Messi turned their backs on the World Cup because of the way Fifa is running the game. This would impact sponsors and broadcasters and in turn bring this whole debacle of an organisation to a standstill.

Trouble is the African and Asian vote will always go Blatter's way no matter what UEFA do...

No doubt what we have done is an abuse of the loan system; in a similar way to those FIFA special loans that are perfectly legitimate.

There is a petition on 38 degrees to get rid of Blatter if anyone is interested in signing it. It was created by a couple of Wimbledon supporters.

Blatter reminds me of Blair, the latter must have had lessons from his mentor. I see Blair has now been sacked from his Middle East Peace Keeping joke job.

You might be interested in looking at the finances of the Championship clubs. Why some seem to pick on Watford so often when there are far bigger problems elsewhere seems strange.

To paraphrase Ali G (or was it Lenny Henry?): "It's coz we're Watford, innit?"

I'd like to congratulate Norwich on their fantastic finances especially when you compare to other relegated sides that year.

Also, the complete shock at some of those teams - Blackburn, Bolton, Cardiff, Fulham, Middleborough & Forest - how on earth will any team survive if their benefactor walks away?

It's the Blackpool figure that really raises eyebrows too. They're evidently rolling in it!

I'm surptised the Daily Mail hasn't linked us to FIFA and Darius Henderson, Jermaine Pennant, Marlon King, Adam Johnson and Troy Deeney (irrespective of what they have done since having their brushes or otherwise with the law), disrespectful tackling and upsetting the established order when we arrived in Division 1 in 1982,

No doubt the rumours will start in that esteemed jounal that we are a haven for criminality and rapscallions; and will be makinfg a bid for the Leicester "starlets".

You have to ask - why the hell did he go through with the charade of an election?
