Actually, that is very good advice. It's always best to keep a valuable motor locked up when it's not being used.

There's only one person on this site who bangs on about the power shift. You're on your own with this mate. Even your fellow Spurs fans have distanced themselves from you.

 

Clearly I'm not the only one discussing this hot-potato issue, as this thread has been raging on for nearly 50 pages!

The Spurs fan on this site are, in the main, very sensible; and they, like me will probably be undecided as to whether or not there is a shift. It's little surprising, therefore, that they won't want to get involved in the debate. However, I can guarantee you that, as soon as they confirm that the shift is on, they'll be making themselves heard, all right.

 

50 pages of people telling you there is no power shift and you still not getting it is nothing to be proud of mate

 

That's the thing, though, PISKIE. I do get it. I get that some people (yourself included) believe that there has been no shift in the power. No one - and certainly not I - would deny you your opinion.

You could be right, of course. For myself, I haven't yet made up my mind. I'll give it a few seasons to see how it pans out, before making my mind up. If you turn out to have been right, I'll be the first one to congratulate you. You know that. Equally, if the pro-shift camp prove to have been right, I'm sure you'd be the first to apologise to them.

It's great that we can debate this hot-potato subject in such an open fashion, and without feeling the need to engage in pointless wummery.
