My son in Newcastle just text to to say Viera is now out of the picture. Why doest Carr stop pi..ing us fans off and just promote his mate McClaren with Charver as his assistant. Then watch season ticket sales drop and stick coming their way. Think they are just stringing this out until after date for season ticket re-newals.
Why is Steve McClaren good enough for us, yet not good enough for Notts Forest or Derby?

I don't think McClaren is a bad coach. Certainly Derby were very entertaining to watch under him and played some lovely football. The problem is he is walking into a very unhappy household at present - one which is run by an absolute twat. I think he like any other would struggle. Vieira seems the type who likes things his way, so that rules him straight out.

I'm not against McClaren but he seems to divide our fanbase in three. Some quite like the idea, some seem indifferent, some don't like it. That can't be a good start. Surely if you were really looking to move forward and unite the club (which is when it operates at its best), you go for someone who is a universally popular choice or at the very least gets everyone intrigued.

I don't expect anything to change, I still actually see Carver in the role come the end of the summer, along with another smattering of cheap D internationals who might make our great leader some money. He'll spin the roulette again, nothing more.

It could be worse we could be going back to the dark days of Fat Sam - useless ****wit. Yet we still get those telling us it was a mistake to get rid <doh> Yeah right of course it was, we all want to watch that ****e don't we.

His formation is simple... he's standing still in Manchester and not considering coming to our **** hole of a club.

This is one of our biggest problems ...Zero Hours conrtact mentality ..with all that goes with it. A total lack of respect for anybody attached to the club (fans/staff/players) treatign them like used condoms to be disposed of as quickly as possible.

Its no real surprise to me that filling the manager role is so difficult (or getting quality players/boardmemebers through the door for that matter) ...Because only the useless/incompetent or desperate are a willing to be treated so shabbily by such a classless, cowering, venal organisation that is currently NUFC Inc

Mike Ashley 'I'm not going anywhere.'

Just watch when your latest puppet has a few bad results. Think this season was bad, just watch.

I agree, I think there are a small minority of fans that enjoy the boycott and are more than happy to cause grief and anarchy, however this is spreading now, not to anyone’s surprise and I agree rightly so.
Before we haven’t had any continuity or arrangement, a team of people leading it, but with the Get MA Out Brigade, a unity could be formed, especially if the managerial decision is poor along with player purchases. I think if we get through this window without a net outlay of over 30 - 35m people are not going to be happy and it will completely contradict what Ashley said in his interview.

I could see this turning pretty sour already. I am also contemplating putting £10.00 on us to go down next season before McLaren or Carver are appointed because i can see the odds tumbling especially if it Carver

The bitterness from this season hasn't gone away despite what Charnley and Ashley think. If they think the appointment of McClaren/ Carver is going to appease fans they can think again. They had the perfect opportunity to build bridges with someone like Vieira. But no, they once again show their incompetence.

When we lose 5-0 to the Mackems next season there is going to be anarchy. The next lot of boycotts won't be 5-7,000. They will be 15-20,000. The bad publicity directed towards Mike Ashley will only increase and the fat bastard will be forced to go on TV again to sound off about how he only wants the best for the club.

Steve McClaren/ John Carver the best for NUFC? **** off. They wouldn't have got anywhere near the top job prior to Ashley.

Best price I can get at the moment is 6/1 so i think I'll hold off until we have won our first 2-3 games and then chuck it on full well knowing some drama or self implosion will be on its way
