    Good Morning Everyone,

Leeds Utd are confident about landing hope to get Lee Erwin from Motherwell for between £300k - £400k.

The club are offering a three-year deal, and a substantially better financial package.

The 21-year-old, who has scored five goals in the last nine games, will now net Motherwell around £220,000 in compensation.

Erwin was sent off after Sunday’s 6-1 aggregate thumping over Rangers last Sunday.

There was an ugly fight in the tunnel with Bilel Mohsni and unused sub Fraser Kerr, which saw all three players red-carded.

A number of clubs from the Premier League are interested in signing Sam Byram.

The latest bid on the table, courtesy of Sunderland is 5m.

    What is Byram worth?

    Is he over rated?

If you knew the money would be reinvested, at what price would you let him go?

    Morning Elland <ok>

They are saying that Lee Erwin is a similar player to Joe Jordan, gets in where it hurts, now that and Joe Barton sounds good.

Sam Byram....5m, done deal, not been the same since the injury he sustained, cant actually believe that Sunderland have bid for him till they have appointed there new coach, rumor has it Martin Jol is in the reckoning.

Morning all. Promising to see a couple of names being linked that we can pronounce. I'll still believe them when I see them. Talk is cheap. As for Byram? No problem with him going depending what happens with the 5m. Remember, according to Cellino, all the McCormack money was reinvested but wasted on rubbish. Prefer to keep a good young player than risk the proceeds on rubbish

    Morning Doha,

Good start, if we get Erwin and Barton.

If you take the last two years, I don't know what all the fuss is about re Byram

Morning all. I read the report that had the lad fighting in the tunnel. Funny - I watched it on tv and it was in the middle of the pitch as they were coming off. He went to shake the hands of the Rangers lad, & when he refused, he shoved him in the back. Not a red card offence, and he should appeal! The Rangers bloke turned round & kicked him, then landed a left hook on his chin before everyone piled in.

Love Byram, but if we can sueeze 6 or 7 mil, I think he's gone & it wouldn't be the end of the world for us. We've got Berardi & Coyle as an understudy, plus Wootton if we're desperate.

Morning Eire, talk is cheap. I'll be amazed if Cellino dips into Serie B or C. Hope he has leaned his lesson.

Morning all, I feel Barton would be a great addition, Erwin more of a gamble, not one you could get excited about but who knows, as Eire said, at least you can pronounce his name but I did need to Wiki him still.

I don't believe Byram is that great at RB but... Better than Wootton and as there are plenty of better RM players around I would say £5m is a good price. I am hoping Berardi goes back into the RB slot and Taylor LB

Morning ristac, I'd definitely like to see Taylor with the number 3 shirt, but think we need to invest in a right back. Someone good, who has pace, and can deliver a good cross too

Morning all <ok> I Like the look of Erwin. Byram is one of our better players, but Berardi has looked good as RB and Byram is not a 5 mil winger, so as always IF the cash is reinvested and hopefully on two wingers, then sell.

Byram will always be a liability and I don't think we'll get the cash we expect because of it. I'm talking about a long term injury that will flame up from time to time. At the moment Byram is learning to live with the damage as it cannot be cured/healed. So if we get good cash lets take it.

Not sure about the Well kid because besides his last 9 games where he scored 5 goals, prior to that he went ziltch. Remember Woods scored goals for fun at Leiecester and then vanished behind Vardy ffs.

£5 million for Byram, yup I'll take that saying Citeh were offering 8 million when he had the **** hot debut season. If Byram goes then we'll need to get a new RB as well competition for the LB spot.

I'm rather happy we're getting British players and we're not having to wiki new players, may it long last

Good morning from a dull Bardsey
I must say I have now watched the highlights of Motherwell V rangers and I thought that young is more a Doukara than a Jordan the difference being he is very nimble on his feet can kick with both feet and porates on either wing though he does favour his left foot so although 6f 2in he didn't seem to possess any presence re free kicks and corners so I still don't know whether he can head a ball or not hence my comparison with Doukara. My gut feeling is we have a star for the future and at 300k a real mbargain
Byram is not worth £5m so no doubt MC will work the oracle by having more clubs after him and raise the fee to £8m
I have made my feelings about Barton already he is trouble and that's what you don't need in a dressing room
A cople of years ago I suggested Jack Hunt since then he was bought by Tony Pulis and got injured immediately and has since been farmed out to Forest and Rotherham but before his injury he was very pace yand his still only young and was born in Leeds so I wouldn't mind a look at him again

A few weeks back WJ reported on seeing a very promising RB play for our academy who could be on the verge of breaking through, (I am pretty sure he said he was a RB).

Nathan Coyne of something. Not in the first team yet and I don't trust Berardi as first choice RB. If we sell Byram I think we'll need to get a first choice RB

Morning ... Lewie Coyle is the Academy RB who Redders felt was next to step up ... £5m for Byram is good business, but feel we can get £6m from a Prem club drowning in cash ... Erwin is one for the future, won't be coming in as our main Striker, still has a lot to learn, and if you look at the 'Well v Gers games, it was pretty much Lge One standard ... at least the backroom staff's being sorted, we that stabilised ... so at the moment it looks like £5m player going out and a £300k novice coming in, pretty much the way Cellino works, so let's hope Cook and Mowatt aren't next out the door
