Although not my no. 1 moment the final whistle in that game away at Millwall is right up there - fantastic fight back and great singing from the away fans ! It was a good journey home !

 

Many good moments, but has to be when we were 4-0 up v Coventry and knowing that we were going back to the Premiership. The JPT Final day out with the kids and family and 50,000 other Saints fans at Wembley is a very, very close 2nd.

 

Not a moment, but our run from promotion to league one to our flying start in the championship.

I think I remember us winning 10 games in a row and being unbeaten for the majority of that calendar year.

The start to the championship was just sensational. We were destroying teams (Leeds, Ipswich, Middlesborough, Birmingham, Watford) and playing wonderful free flowing football. The players were enjoying it and I've never enjoyed being a supporter as much.

Then the pressure of promotion took hold and games became far more intense to really sit back and enjoy

 

A bit of a cop out, but i would say that all the last 6 years have been my favourite moments.

Someone once said to me, if it wasn't for the low moments, you wouldn't enjoy the high moments. In 2009 we were in League One on minus 10. Six years later we are 7th in the Premier League in Europe, making a lot of friends on the way. That is one hell of a low to one hell of a high. If we had never been that low, there is no way I could have enjoyed as much all those moments that you have all mentioned as much.

But if I had to name one, I would say as others have said that it would have to be 4-0 up against Coventry, knowing we were back.

"Stand up if you're Premier League". 32,000 did.

Not many have mentioned it yet but mine is Walsall. For me, the party atmosphere of that day was brilliant and that was the start of our rise back to where we are now and the beginning of the journey if you like. Was fantastic to see and be on the pitch in celebration compared to the invasion against Burnley 2 years before. Plus this was the end of the season Markus passed so made it even more special.

 

My favourite moment with the benefit of hindsight was the moment the ink dried on the takeover contract.

 

Only Fonte and Morgan (just) are still here (from that picture)...happy memories though.

Yes Watford. Funnily enough, I noticed there was a player hardly visible behind chappers, but I hadn't realized that it was all the outfield players in the photo until you posted the question. Knew it was Butters, because it must have been a few weeks after he had shaved his head because the hair is a little fuzzy.

 

I asked about the opposition so I could go and look it up to make sure it wasn't Frazer Richardson. But you're right, the haircut gives it away. Good team, that one.

Ruined by Blackpool I believe where we salvages a late 2-2 draw. And then we stayed unbeaten for the whole of 2011....until the 28/9th December where we lost to Brizzle
