Getting close to completing a move to Manchester United, apparently.

Off for £25m, allowing us to bring in Jordy Clasie and Idrissa Gueye for £19.7m combined.

Makes sense for us all. Best of luck to him if he goes there, arguably the biggest (if not, second biggest) in the world.

Biggest club in England and Champions League football. Thanks Morgan.

All the best to him, should be a good fit there. Any idea how close we are to Clasie or Gueye?

In terms of revenue, Man U are the biggest sports club in the world. I'll be sorry to see him go of course but if we get Clasie and Gueye we'll be stronger than ever, plus a bit of change towards keeping Toby. As you say DTLW, thanks for everything Morgan, and all the best for the future.

I'm happy about this., would compliment Manchester United well and is someone they have definitely been lacking.

Good luck Morgan and thank you for the memories.

He will be a great signing for you. Just what you needed. I'd rather he went to Arsenal but glad he's not going to Spurs - he's far too good for them. :)

My only question here is why wouldn't Van Gaal go for Jordy himself? He worked with him as little as a year ago so if they are comparable in ability you'd think he'd go for the familiar player at half the price.

Regardless, good luck Morgan, thanks for your efforts over the years.

Thats what i figured was the reason but i would've thought Van Gaal would be able to see past that. Jordy has more experience at international level and CL (if i'm not mistaken.) Van Gaal for all his faults isnt an idiot so this does surprise me a little.
