sides who win the league usually have at least 5-6 truly top class players that opposition dread facing.

we've got some work to do to catch City and Chelsea as they're the only ones of that calibre. I don't think we can, but we can try to close the gap and hope to get lucky

We're on the same level. The likes of Sanchez, Ozil, Cazorla, Walcott etc. are as good as anything they have.

Anyway, Liverpool didn't have 5 or 6 top class players in 13-14, did you? You had Suarez and Sturridge.

Rodgers should get one more year IMO. In 3 years he's managed to put in a title challenge and this season, showed his tactical flexibility to turn around a faltering side missing it's best player with a 17 match unbeaten run (or whatever it was). There are definitely negatives that are a concern but I think he's done just about enough to warrant one more crack at it.

And I'd have Rafa back in a heartbeat. He'll only get a year at Real so the timing would work out nicely.

    Combined Arsenal/Chelsea side..

    -----------------------Courtois
    Ivanovic-----Terry---------Cahill-----Azpi
    --------------Matic-----Fabregas
    ------Sanchez----Cazorla----Hazard
    -------------------Costa

Arsenal have a much better squad than United, Liverpool etc do atm but are pretty far behind Chelsea really. Nothing a good summer couldn't fix though.

Think Koscielny is good but a bit over-rated. As a unit Chelsea have by far the best back 4 in the league. Cahill is a good player with a goal threat.

Cahill may not be a world beater, but I think his quality gets overlooked because of bigger names around him.

Was the same with Ivanovic for a long while. Now people seem to rightly rate him a lot higher.

yes, didn't even put his won poll.

I'd delete this to save PJ the embarrassment but seeing he's a little bitter crab apple i'll leave it up so all the great reds fans can point and laugh

Too late, merged it with all things BR thread.

The lack of poll meant it didn't warrant it's own thread.

He did terrible jobs with Napoli and Inter and an average job with Chelsea. Mediocre manager. No better than Rodgers.

Let's not forget that Brendan inherited a team that one the Carling cup and got to the final of the FA cup the prior year in Kenny's first full year. BR's record doesn't stand up. At all.
