Its a shame about these 4 players have shamed the club as we have a really good team that are a credit to the club. The current group have represented our club which pride and deserve a lot of credit for it And then Danny Simpson, Adam Smith, Tom Hopper and James Pearson have brought bad headlines to the club
Worth noting James Pearson is out of contract so he might get away with not being sacked, he just won't be offered a new contract I think the only possible reason he could get a new contract would be he is the manager's son. He hasnt made an impact and now this so he doesnt deserve a new contract
What if he's actually quite a good footballer? Does shagging a bird with your mates warrant being banished from the club? Maybe sack (or release) Hopper at a push. Don't really see what the others are guilty of apart from being thick.

James Pearson has been here 3 years, not played for the first team and never even named on the bench. He struggled at loan spell at Peterborough this season and can't see him making the grade in the Premier League and now this Tom Hopper is the best prospect of the 3 as he has scored quite a lot of goals for the development side Adam Smith is our 5th choice keeper so he won't be a loss But because of James is the managers son it could make problems between Nigel and the owners if it isn't dealt with correctly

I don't know much about any of them except seeing Hopper a bit at Bury where he didn't look all that, years ago. My point is, really, have the other two done anything wrong worthy of anything more than a slap on the wrist? If Pearson gets released based on football ability then fine, just think doing it because of this isn't a justifiable punishment for the 'crime'
The irony of that comment is that this IS the outcome when footballers aren't expected to act like role models. These three ARE the young kids that are emulating their heroes, only this generation is stupid enough to commit things like this to video.

(although if they would like to fly me over for a cultural discourse I will of course be happy to oblige ) ... and at what point have the knobheads insulted 'Thai people' ? they haven't, except perhaps by collective generalisation... the insulting phrase is non-Thai specific - indeed if you want to take the insulting phrase at face value it insults anyone of south-east Asian origination or descent the phrase is still reprehensible but let's be accurate ... ... now if they had made any specific slights on Thai history, culture or Thais as a race specifically then I think we would have cause for genuine concern about the clubs relationship with its' owners and the Thai people generally ... as it is I suspect the grown ups will sit down and decide upon an appropriate course of action to address a serious, but non-criminal, breech of club discipline and responsibility ...

To paraphrase Bill Shankly, life is simple, over-comlicated by idiots. If a culture existed around the game that this kind of behaviour is unacceptable, you'd see less of it. Unfortunately, everyone bows and scrapes for for this over-paid, over-pampered, often under-educated young oafs, and they think they can do what they want. This event is merely the tip of the iceberg. It's not kids in general but young (mainly) lads coming into the game that will inevitably follow their predecessors.
The problem is that with modern technology the ******s recorded it - I imagine George Best, Frankie Wortho would give the modern day 'lads' a good run for the money but there was no evidence to back it up.
