I think London is on the map regardless of how crap its seventh best football team is (or whatever we are)
Maybe the greatest escape in premier league history puts us on the map afar as football fans are concerned. First on MOTD most weeks etc. you seem a good poster don't get me wrong, I just think you are being a bit blasé about what these guys have done
Subjective but it was a good run. Personally I'd say Fulham under Hodgson was a bit better. Just don't think it puts the city "on the map". That's all I was saying
I support the t I support the team probably closest to Central London. You just assumed I was a Watford fan.
From the basis we were 7 points adrift in March and the run ours would be the greatest but I agree that as they were actually down at half time (away at Man City)? That was special too. Better than Sunderland etc though as we were that far adrift. I was also talking about on the map in football terms as oppose to generally (King Richard etc). Also just counted, you're the 6th team in London
Typical southern arrogance. Why would the 8th biggest city in England need a sex scandal to get itself on the map? What's Watford ever done for the world apart from cursing it with Vinnie Jones?
Looks like we´ve got rid of Queenie & got this Watford R girl in her place. There´s always one I guess.
Unless your username is extremely misleading and you're referring to another club, I think you'll find Watford is in Hertfordshire. Typical southern, trying to pass yourself off as cockney.
Blimey. People getting very defensive over light-hearted banter. If it really means that much to people, I'm sure Leicester is on the map* *of the East Midlands
I guess it's misleading then. Don't think you'll find anyone in Watford who considers themselves a cockney. Go to Essex for that.
The R's are QPR, so a Watford R, would(I assume) be a QPR fan who currently resides in Watford. Proud, better to do a line on a night out than go abusing Thai sex workers, don't you think?
