That's me! Mr Generous! Nah seriously, we have bugger all money to spend so I don't want to spend 5 million (or whatever it is) on a back up right back.
We were linked last summaer and I did some digging, supposedly talented but patchy form and has disappeared when going badly. Not sounding like a good fit considering we are generally going badly...
Trippier won't cost £5m and he's tried and tested in the premier league now. This is a non sstory I reckon.
We have bugger all to spend do we !, that's us down then next season then, after saving us £90 m plus from relegation !, are we the laughing stock again ?. We need a top striker for £20-30 m then replacements for Bridcutt, O Shea, Brown and that is just the start and we have to go to Bayern, Madrid, Man c etc for players not the championship. Watmore is finally getting recognised thankfully as it a took a whole season when he should have replaced Whickam etc in January, and shows how this club is still run.

City were supposedly after him 2 years ago, but his development has stagnated Abit over the last year, mainly due to injury. He's looked quite slow when I've seen him play. Leeds used him as a winger mainly last season.
