Yup absolutely fantastic job, well done Pulis. Let me ask you one question, given that Spurs do not have a fit Centre Half at the moment with King having just had a knee op, if Woodgate was anywhere NEAR fit - arry would have kept hold of him - WOULD he not?? Oh hang on a minute, he is coming to Stoke to be with our fabled medical team, to get Stoke fit. Is this the SAME fabled medical team that gave the thumbs down to BA??? You really couldn't make this up
I heard he's on around 5k a week with a 25k bonus for playing 90 minutes. Could be complete horse manure, though.
Played golf this morning with a West Ham fan and he really rates Carlton Cole, says he works very `ard` making good unselfish runs etc.and he would be very sorry to see him leave.I would like to see him be our next signing as I`m sure TP would get the best out of him!
Sky were reporting that it was 20K a week rising to 40K if he plays teh required number of games. To be fair I dont have to big an issue becasue there is no sign on fee and I cant see him playing many league games, unless god forbid either Huth or Shawx get injured! Lets hope he moves onto a type of player that can change games and not just prevent the game from being played. KTF!
I`m sorry for intruding on the debate about the worth of signing Woodgate or not but the question posed on this thread was who do we think will be Stoke`s next signing!
Thats debate we are incapable of having due to our vastly different views on what players we need and in what positions! Some fans feel more of the same is OK (as it is a proven formula) and some fans feel that what is happening or should be happening, should be very very different to our manager and CEO!
Nope Steve - right FIRST time and just to correct you if I may, I am NOT a doubter, there is NO doubt in my mind at all; NO doubt Pulis Out
