I have to say that those were my first thoughts. They've got rid of two out and out fans favourites, and if we as fans were ever fortunate enough to represent our club we couldn't possibly show any more passion for the club than those two. So why? Why let them go and then put out a video out of them displaying said passion, passion that we are going to need in bucket loads in the Championship? After all our club doesn't have the best communication skills, to say the least. To my mind it's just a cheap swipe at the fans, nothing more, and it's pissed me off as I just feel it's like them shoving it in our faces and saying 'look what you've lost, no one tells me how to run my business'.

No offence to the op or those that liked his post...

But, why the **** are you liking that post?

The video is from the 'Hull Tigers' You Tube page. The club that have just ****ed off two of a small handful players who, imo, care most about the club. Who play with their hearts on their sleeves. Who, quite rightly, must be pissed off at their treatment this last season. Two players who would drag City back to the prem, not because of money, but because they want to!

And then the 'club' decide to put out a video of them with 'Heroes' as the song? **** me.

It's just taking the piss. I wouldn't mind if we knew they were past their sell by dates. But we all know they're not. ****ing nuts.

Give them a contract, pay them the wages and let them play. They'll do a **** well better than the likes of Huddlestone or any of City's overpaid strikers who want out anyway.

Just think of the clubs' rubbing their hands at the prospect of signing one of those two. Am thinking Forest, Derby and others, who will no doubt be in the top two or top six whilst City meander in mid-table or worse with overpaid tossers.

**** off City. Just **** off!!!!

Unless I have mis-read all this completely???

You're right of course, however those that 'liked' it liked it because it showed two players that we all admire, and not combining that with the thought of how badly we'll miss them in the Championship next season, or the probable fact that the club are simply taking the piss before next season has even kicked off.

I agree 100% with your post and for that reason I've rescinded my like.

    Piss taking ****s!

Indeed. And you're right. I do understand why people liked the video. Quite right too.

But it would just be much more palatable if it was made by fans or others who actually know that Macca and Rosie ARE heroes. Heroes to us, the supporters.

This video has been put out by Hull City (Hull Tigers on YT). A club that is morally bankrupt. These players aren't heroes to the club. They've just put this out to try and push back the ever-growing tide of discontent against them.

For them to make a video of Paul McShane and Liam Rosenior, who they've just ****ed off, with the soundtrack being 'Heroes' is incredible, audacious and a total ****ing piss take.

    PS

I like to think that both McShane and Rosenior had the chance to tell Steve Bruce and Assem Allam to go **** themselves before they went.

I also like to think that they looked Ehab in the eye and just shook their heads as they passed by him. He doesn't even deserve a word.

Completely agree. "Diabolical" is a good word to use in describing the release of Macca and Liam...both of whom were "City" to the core and exactly the type of players we will need in the Championship. We are going to need defensive depth next season with Davies and Alex being injury prone and Dawson getting on. I just hope we dont come to regret these decisions and their impact on team spirit.

Funny that Rosie's open letter which had nothing to do with the club and was completely off his own bat chose instead to publicly thank the owners.

Here's the exact quote just in case you missed it.

I would also like to thank the owners, the Allam family, who without, I do not believe this proud club would be in existence if it wasn't for the extreme generosity they have shown, in not only saving the club from extinction but investing heavily in the club and seeing it to promotion, the first FA Cup final in the club's history and the first time in the club's history at reaching European competition.

McShane and Rosie have been handsomely paid by the club for their past services.
The club has to cut its cloth accordingly.

There is better value out there now than these two players.

Erm... Ronson isn't playing guitar in Heroes.

    It's Robert Fripp.

Ronson's last appearance on a Bowie album was Pin Ups in 1973.

Even Dawson was treated really shabbily by the club with regard to his testimonial match.

We should do the same as Liverpool did for Stevie G for any player that leaves us for another club.

Obviously we'd need more for anyone retiring.

Not many things are a certainty in life but there are two:-

    1. Macca will get a hero's welcome if he ever returns to the KC.
    2. There's no way he would rub our noses in it if he scored against us.

Low is my personal favourite, but pretty much everything he released in the 70s was superb.

Better value than a player who is comfortable in 5 different positions and isn't on a particularly high wage? How's that? Even if we buy a player for £500k we'd have to be paying him 10k less a week than we were paying Rosie for him to be any cheaper within a year, i.e if Rosie is on £15k then we'd have to find someone for £5k to make up for the extra 500k spend. I just don't see how the decision is financial, it has to be that we'd be looking to upgrade and I really can't see us doing that.

Yeah, I'm afraid I never gave any of his stuff after his Ziggy era much of a chance, I was so pissed off when he killed off Ziggy.

Funnily enough, just the other night before I was flicking through the channels before going to bed and Bowie and the Spiders From Mars Live from the Hammersmith Odeon was just starting. Obviously I had to watch the full hour and a half. Bowie was superb, goes without saying, and it was also great, and pretty emotional, to see and hear Mick Ronson again, plus Bowie giving a shout out for each of the band members at the end, 'Trevor bolder on bass, Woody Woodmansey on Drums, and no it's not Suzy Quattro on lead, it's Mick Ronson' <laugh>

I was like the walking dead the following morning but it was well worth it.

Can't help but feel if we'd just signed Rosenior as a free agent people would be saying it's a masterstroke by Brucie, been promoted from this level before etc.

Like I said earlier, 'Clever communicators these bastards that run our club.', they have used everyone along their path of deceit and failure and are not as dumb as some liked to think. I really regret supporting the Bruce banner and my indirect support of the Cobb Morley banner; it has become increasingly obvious that no-one employed by the club can be readily trusted and that is a damn shame.
