Cook is now England's highest ever test runs scorer . Must say I tend not to pay to much attention to this sort of thing , sportsmen / women of different era's face different situations . Amount of games played/ styles of play / / races driven etc .
In the paper today, a man who was given a life sentence for 4 (FOUR) rapes groomed a girl on line and raped her whilst on day release. 1) He should never be on day release and 2) should never have been permitted unmonitored access to the internet. If I was that girl I would sue the pants off the Home Office (if you pardon the expression).
Oh I agree , but what about over rates , hours / days lost to bad weather , it really wasn't a complaint and well done Cook and Anderson yesterday , just IMHO there are so many variables .
So I went clubbing the other night at this awesome place which played cheese from the 80s, 90s and 00's (as well as some from today). It was epic! Never heard so much S-Club 7 in one night! Highlight was singing "What Makes You Beautiful" by One Direction to the girl I'm in love with! What a bizarre world when you can relate to 1D lyrics :s
Alas she is not as far as I'm aware but we're good friends. I should really move on, but I can't help how I feel about her. I've never met anyone so amazing, incredible and beautiful (and I know I've mentioned a fair number of girls since I've been at Not606 but none I've had such depth of feeling for). Trust me, if you met her you'd understand. Oh well, unrequited love is the best kind
Not to try to undermine you but to love and trust and be loved and trusted in return is the best kind. Once experienced, one realises it's best thing ever.
Just caught up with the penultimate episode of The Game...anyone watching it. Spy thriller set at the time of the troubles in Northern Ireland, when Russia were the enemy (before they became friends and then enemies again), when spy equipment needed a pantechnicon to move it round, and when you can look at a grey detonator box with one switch and say that it's a bit sophisticated for the IRA . Modern spying may be ultra-sophisticated, but it's far too clinically clean....can't beat people running around in the docks at night. Love it.
BBC2 Thursday 09.00, but last episode next week. Nice and complicated with flashbacks, beautiful spies and moles....like they used to make them. If you like Smiley, you'd like this.
Indeed, but that wouldn't have sounded so snappy in Moulin Rouge. Plus, the whole story is based around the idea of lack of trust between the Duke and Nicole Kidman. Being in love is a nice feeling though, even if it is unrequited.
