. . is it just me or do players (or probably their agents) have too high an opinion of themselves.
Lets take the recent statements (rumours maybe) that Jelly, N'Doye and Hernandez consider themselves far too superior to play in the Championship and are waiting for offers. Between them they managed 17 goals from 63 appearances and all played for a side that were relegated last season.
Sorry fellers but the REALITY is that you were below average for the Premier League and I believe that your best chance is on a 'loan' agreement where, if you are injured it's back to us and/or if you continue to play the same as you did for us then you will be warming your @rse on another Clubs bench. Best to stay with us and play every week with a much better opportunity to do what you are employed to do - score goals.
Chester and Robertson will no doubt receive offers as they have potential. We will be lucky to keep them.
Elmo and Brady found their limitations at Premier League level and they could receive offers but (in my personal opinion) not as good as the money they are on with us (relegation clauses taken into account as well). Both like to be in the 'starting line up' and I cannot see this with a Premier League Club. I expect them to stay.
Harpers gone and is to continue his career with British West Hartlepool. Good luck to the bloke.
McGreggor will surely be brought back with Jak on the bench.
The Hudd will not get offers (at least not better than what he is getting with us, again impo) and will be with us next season alongside Diame (who's injury problems will surely deter prospective buyers) and Quinn.
Davies and Snodgrass will return from Injury whilst Ince and Maguire will return from loan.
Dawson ans Bruce will be formidable in the Championship.
Aluko United will play for himself whilst giving the 'big finger; to anyone and everyone when he gets the ball.
We could be back with a bang next season if our key larkers can stay injury free and we get some cohesion back in the side.
The closed season should be interesting with so much speculation going on but we will know better when kick-off comes.
The trials and tribulations of being a Hull City supporter!

I agree it's ironic that the likes of Hernandez and N'Doye deem themselves to good for the Championship when their contributions to keeping us up were so poor. That said I'd be delighted if we can shift them both permanently and receive a fee for it.

Jelavic shouldn't be lumped with those two. If he'd stayed fit we'd have stayed up, I'm sure of it. If he stays with us he could do well in the Championship. Either way we really need new strikers because Jelavic alone isn't enough.

Jelavic has work rate but he could miss sitters as well.

Yes, well he was more or less working on his own all season and it proved to be too much. What got me, and this happened on numerous occasions, is that he shook his marker, found the empty space and was totally ignored. You can see him time and time again screaming for the ball and then remonstrating because he never received it. He has the proverbial 'wonky knee' now and I cannot see an outright bid for him; maybe a loan move; but I personally think he will have no option but to stay. Lets hope we can get someone to work with him and off him.

yawn - urban myth - it was Davies

here's a couple for you - the same player who was substituted at Fulham when we were losing 2 0 and we drew 2 2 - or if you want something from this season - the same player who came on 5 minutes from the end against Arsenal when we were winning 2 1, gave the ball away three times and they equalised, or perhaps the idiot who committed the foul at Wembley that put Arsenal back into the game - Southampton penalty, Swansea barging into Brady for one of their goals, flying into Costa to give Chelsea's first goal etc etc etc , I could go on and on, its boring - he's only in the team for one reason and one reason alone - daddy - why do you think there's been so much **** in the dressing room - that's why daddy finally had to drop him because he was making him look stupid - every team he's played at have loaned him out and got rid except those where daddy is the manager - that's a fact, deal with it

Give it a rest FFS you boring ****.
By that stupid logic we were winning 2-1 when AB went off in the Cup Final and...

He didnt play a game in May we were ****.

He didnt play in either Burnley game, they are the two games that cost us our PL place. We were absolutely ****ing dogshit in both of them and Alex ****ing Bruce didnt play.
Your logics ****ing warped and even more ****ed up than Roo's or Tickles and thats saying something.

I'd keep Alex for the Championship, but if there's something in the dressing room going on it'll come out and that's not good.

No doubt when Rosenior or McShane sign for a new club it'll get mentioned, if it's true.

Theres always something going on in every dressing room. The fact is we lost too many games and were relegated. Players never blame themself or their own performance and always look for any excuse.
As I keep saying AB never played a game in May, we lost them all apart form a draw against a lacklustre Man U. Anyone who went to Spurs knows how weak we were, compare that to Sunlands game against Arsenal.
