Thanks for this information, I tried to download it and it has prompted me to buy a zip file, is it necessary to do this?
That's how it starts, I gather. Then she'll crank it up until she eventually gets to "Who needs testicles anyway?" Seriously, just ask sircheshireben.
Before you know it she'll be saying "who needs a shed and a lifelong collection of bits and bobs" and you'll rage, but you'll do **** all about it, and as swiftly of that a lifetime of manhood will be leaving in a skip. Always wingless are the comfiest apparently.
You've missed a 4th category. 4. Those that are not mugs, not lazy, older, tech-savvy, able and willing to learn something new. People in this category might think that spending a few quid on Sky is preferable to spending hours on the internet looking for free this that and the other of dubious quality. They might also think if something is worth having it probably needs to be paid for by somebody. If nobody paid Sky subscriptions there would be an awful lot less of Sky to watch, free or otherwise. It's a bit like the illegal music download business, nobody will convince me that the music industry hasn't suffered because of it. For the record, I dislike Sky and their overpowering business practices, however I do subscribe because there are some channels (some foreign language) me and my family want to see easily and conveniently, without resorting to dodgy streams, multiple dishes on the roof and services which work one minute then not the next (eg NBC sports on Kodi.) and I am prepared to pay for this.
"For me Sky subscribers fall into three catagories:- 1. Mugs like Tickles. 2. Those that are too lazy to do anything about changing it. 3. Older people that are not tech savvy and are unwilling/unable to learn." I.ve not read the thread. I'm a 2. Someone explain what i do and if its not too much effort i might do it. Ta
I am using TVMC for sports. But have got too used to an HD picture on my large screen TV to be happy with SD pictures via TVMC. Try downloading TVMC from here, it has a lot of things already installed. http://www.tvaddons.ag/ Then have a look on YouTube "how to install add ons for Kodi or xbmc". IPTV STALKER is a good one to have. You can have fun watching stuff from all over the globe. Loads of, full TV series, old TV programmes. Worth buying an Amazon fire stick for £25 and putting it onthere, then you can take it with you wherever you go. All on the assumption you have broadband with unlimited downloads. I am an oldie and not particularly techno savvy but managed by googling and watching you tube for info.
I googled Kodi. Opened the webpage, went through the download procedure. Then called the youngest to get summat on telly. I watched a film last night, there was nowt wrong with picture quality. Film content quality was ****e mind. There was plenty of choice TV & film wise although I couldn't find any sky sports stuff.
Try getting TVMC or have look for stuff to install on forums or you tube. You need Phoenix and IPTV stalker. Plenty of good film content available.
get all the sports activity here - http://cricfree.tv/channel5-live-sports-streaming. Download Adblocker first
I'm still watching this thread because I reckon that if Sir Ben can eventually get everything working I should have half a chance as well As soon as he is watching sports for free I'll crack on and tell Murdoch to get ****ed Come on Ben...hurry up!
Dont hold your breath mate, he's a right lazy get. I've broached the subject with Chazz Jnr, he'll do it he says, but he's all stressed with revising for his GCSE's at the moment. Its just self self bloody self with some people.
Doesn't take any doing, Chazz. I am ancient and lazy bordering on bone idle and managed it. Just go to the link to TVMC I gave in an earlier post and download whichever version you want (except IOS which requires a jail broken iPad or iPhone. You can spend ages skimming through TV all over the world and find you have spent all night and not really watched anything. I have watched a few films. Some links aren't that great on a large screen TV but are good on a laptop screen
If it is of any interest I used this Tutorial which I found the best to find addons for Kodi, and sports channels. https://seo-michael.co.uk/how-to-watch-premier-league-football-using-xbmc/
