I know someone who worked with him for a few years (A Hearts fan) and he said he was a lovely fella.. I know Celtic fans who have met him and said the same.

I know Advocate is only trying to be a smart arse but I just want to clarify just how bad a gentleman Greig was. For season after season he sat in the Director's bix at nearly every game Rangers played. At all these game the mob of hooligans sang the most hateful sectarian and bigoted songs ever sung at a football ground in the Uk. What would a gentleman , that was given legendary status by the Rangers support. All gentlemen in his position would have pleaded with the fans to stop and would have pointed out the errors of their singing. Greig chose to hum along and say nothing. When Rangers 1872 died in 2012 , he gleefully took up his seat in the box whilst the new team Sevco was playing. Not attempting to stop the disgusting singing at one club, could be deemed to be careless or forgetful, but not trying at the second club, just shows how poor an example of mankind he is. Thankfully the owner of Rangers saw him as the sponger he was and took the benefit of a free sat off him. In later weeks the glib and shameless liar has let him back in. A gentleman wouldn't allow himself to be a prawn in liar's pool.
