Think that was always going to be the case, solid signing in my opinion uses the ball well, versatile, prem experience. Not sure how he slots in in our starting eleven but think he will have a role to play for sure

Was almost certainly a done deal. Good signing I think, adds somethings we don't get from other players. Despite what some people feel I've been rather impressed with him works hard, looks good on the ball can pass and tackle.

Has the odd really bad game but adds something sometimes - not a really exciting signing <cracker>

He is more of an engine room type of player. Gets stuck in and let's the opposition know he is there. Not a flair player, more like Tetty, the good work he does goes mostly unnoticed.

and he can score from a free kick (sometimes). Something we have missed since Snodgrass departed

Redmond dead balls have improved a lot. We don't really have anyone who can be dangerous from the right side which snoddy was.

I don't think we've seen the best of him yet but he has still looked pretty useful to me - neat and tidy in possession and works hard (as others have said)

This is a solid signing in my opinion and helps to steady the squad as a whole. He has a good head and can cover one or two positions if required, pretty happy about this.

We had a good look at him during his loan, and he seems to fit in perfectly.

Agree with all of that, especially that he is likely to improve the more he plays. The one puzzling thing is why it's only a two-year contract.

One in the PL and one season in the Championship, in which should we fail in getting promoted again, he will be free to go if he wants <whistle>

That was my thought as well, Thai, which is fair enough I suppose, as he's played most of his career in the PL.
