Means it will be on in pubs and clubs across the region. Why you wouldnt want to be there in person is a mystery to me like but then again thats a personal choice. I think it will be a comfortable, over subscribed sell out anyway, even if it was on Sky.
With flight and car hire, plus beer tokens, i'm in for £700 for this match mate. I'll be watching it from the North Stand
Well done that man. Hope you think it was cheap at twice the price come 2pm on the 20th kidda? Payback
You and me both mate. I hav an 8am flight back on the Sunday, and whatever the result the fallout/hangover is going to be immense. If we win, i won't give a ****, if we lose, i don't even wanna think about the hardship.
I use this for away games http://www.free-football.tv/ It's a fiver or summat for membership, but has stacks of links, and 9 outta 10 times one is perfect
Make sure you have the latest updates of the various software mate. I use sopcast or "others", normally ok. Veetle gives a brill picture but is unreliable as it stalls & pixelates. Go for a link with a high bit rate, say 600kbps or more if one is available, you may, from time to time, have to put up with foreign commentary though. It is usually available in English though. Hope this helps.
Second that, go for Sop ideally, you'll need to download the software (free, safe), it's usually the most stable, as streams suffer from fluctuation more, as people connect and disconnect.
Fortunately living abroad has it's positive's all games are shown here, whether live or delay time. Unfortunately (unable to see all games here, live) I'm in the UK for most of August, hope to get to the L'pool & Swansea games, but will have to watch the Derby in a local pub, hoping they have setanta.
i might have got this wrong but i belive that it is espn that owns the rights to games and have taken over santanta
ESPN took over Setanta UK, but Setanta Ireland was listed as a separate company and still broadcasts over there
By the way for anyone not going to the game against Newcastle, last season there was one of our lads putting up links to download all of our matches, so might be worth a look on there, as there was a few choices up last year for games like Birmingham and Blackburn.
